Kuwaitis voted for change in the Gulf emirate’s second poll in a year. Four women candidates made history by winning the first female seats in the Kuwaiti parliament. This handout picture shows Spanish mountain climber Edurne Pasaban climbing the Kangchenjunga mountain. Spanish mountaineer Edurne Pasaban moved closer on to achieve her goal of becoming the first woman to climb all 14 of the world’s highest mountains after she successfully scaled Mount Kangchenjunga on the border between Nepal and India. Pasaban reached the top of the mountain, the world’s third-highest with an elevation of 8,586 metres with a group of Spanish climbers, her team told Basque public broadcaster EITB. – AFP Photo
