On the occasion of Yaum-e-Shuhada and to pay homage to supreme sacrifices of SHUHADA, Pakistan Post has issued three commemorative Postage Stamps of Rupees 8 each. The postage stamps carry pictures of Captain Karnal Sher Khan (Shaheed), Havildar Lalak Jan (Shaheed) recipient of Nishan-e-Haider and Naik Saif Ali Khan (Shaheed) recipient of Hilal-i-Kashmir (equivalent to Nishan-e-Haider). It may be mentioned here that Yaum-e-Shuhada is celebrated on April 30 every year to pay rich tributes to the brave sons of soil who rendered their lives for the defense of the motherland.
