Decades of War turned that country into junkyard as compared to what it was. May the War end soon.

Both Afghanistan and Pakistan were very moderate and progressive countries.. until the Soviet invasion..

Nice picture. It looks a bit very new and good quality picture to be from afghanistan 40 years ago. but anyway there are some other pictures from Afghanistan i wanted to share with you all?

And look at now!! how much war has dominated our minds? Even rugs/carpet industry is not spared. I remember that during the Mujahideen time, they immediately brought the Jihadi stuff into school text books, but i think luckily it has been removed now.

Not really. The destruction will be limited to the reactor area and there won't be any nuclear explosion type mushroom cloud (because that's impossible), but the fallout will be pretty significant (depends on the reactor size) and surrounding areas will be affected by the radioactive fallout.
