You sound like having a 25 years experience in Frigate building.
Now a days the survivability is depended upon state of the Art weapons and self protection systems and not how thick the layers are.

A Torpedo can sink any ship no matter how thick it is - a harpoon can break a ship into two regardless of the "Thickness".

I am sure Indian navy does not listen to you folks to build their ships - i hope they truly dont because you know sh!t about Frigates because all that matters to you is Freaking thickness

This is a south korean ship which was torpedoed by North Korea and it was very "Thick" yet it sank and was torn into two.

lol I am a Naval enginer.For a war ship it use special steel to make the hull weight more light but the strength still enough,it means you can install more equiments. it is ridicious to hold a piont that thick just means strong.if you don't know just keep silent .
