Engineers of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) braved freezing temperatures in Norway while fixing a grounded aircraft, for about four hours, that had encountered a technical glitch in the engine.

PK 752 had reached the country's capital Oslo from Lahore on Feb 6. However, it was unable to make its way back due to the fault.

The dedicated team of engineers during this time worked untiringly to repair the aircraft.

Shortly after, the plane took off for the journey via Copenhagen with a delay of 30 hours on Feb 8.

As many as 200 passengers, during the delay, were provided hotel accommodation by the national carrier.

For their efforts, PIA head Arshad Malik lauded the performance of duty engineers, the manager of Oslo operations as well as the ground handling staff with special commendations.

For 30 hours Aircraft had to go through gruelling operation that also out in freezing temperature. Plane was probed and throb-ed out in open by these these these savages. #justiceForPK752

. . . . . .
It must be the only plane that went bad over there in Norway for sure?

.
It happens in every airline and such event can be minimized if proper work is done domestically before flying planes in foreign countries

Have these engineers done the scheduled maintenances honestly than plane wouldn't have been grounded at first place.

Every fool can criticize : )

Either way, planes can sometimes undergo faults even despite scheduled maintenances, such anomalies can occur. Have you never seen anything go wrong even with scheduled check ups, is it really 100%? What are the odds?

Bravo! But do the Norwegians take their planes to an exotic pacific island to fix.

I think its rather that while those people are accustomed to that, these people are not, its showing commitment to work. Although they were obliged, something to appreciate nonetheless.

Every fool can surely do cheerleading. And one who doesn't know about state of maintenance and service would have been living under rock.
