Photos: US Military And Pakistan Flood Relief

If the issue was portrayed in a political light..
The US would have had some success in building a better image.
But the hatred against the US is built on religious grounds..
And Religion >> gestures.

USAID Report

Summary: 18 million people affected, 1.7 million homes destroyed, but less than 2,000 dead. Of the nearly seven hundred million dollars the U.S. spent between July and January, about $600 million was by USAID and $100 million by the military. That doesn't include the "normal" salary and deployment costs of maybe 10,000 sailors and ships, aircraft and airmen, over a three-month period - at least another $250 million in salary and training costs alone. (Of course the U.S. was not the only nation that undertook Pakistan flood relief.)
