What's new

Pervez Khattak disgusting ethnic pathan card speech to divide Pakistanis & PTI, Remove Him!

1.please provide the quote and exact sentence
2. Self aggrandizing on your part; I am referring to voting trends.
The PPP's hold has all but waned which has led to a reversion until recently to local affiliation politics. PML(n) popularity existed so as long as the traders felt the benefit: that is long gone.
That leaves the ANP with its consistency in ethnic politics at 15-35% of the vote at any time.
Some of the vote being stolen by political affiliations moving to PTI - same faces new party - same electoral tactics in desperate times.

3. Please learn to differentiate between the word tensions and problem.somehow construeing it into province wide destabilization is again your own nationalism at work and not an objective assessment.

4. Churchill-roosevelt , kennedy - macmillian, ping-pong relationships etc . Your tone suggests a very emotional approach ringed with childish chides. Clearly you can't think straight

5. Again, trying to accuse me of what you initiated shows an immature character

Finally, it seems your approach is based more on less developed ethno-national ideals rather than a Pakistan centric objective view.
So NVM, no point in wasting my time with you

:disagree: You have plenty of time to boil your blood for NS walas.

Out of your long emotional post only the RED part is worth thanking hence I am thanking you for that.

as for the last three lines of your post

NVM if you cannot stop yourself from emotional political rants despite being a senior moderator then do not hide behind fancy claims as if you do not have a soft corner for NS walas.

Its loving your country (land)
That's what I thought. Not too sure about it now. I have grown up abroad but the connection with the land of my ancestors is incredbibily strong. However I am not too sure about what Pak nationalism is about anymore. It can't be land alone as native born Sikh/Hindu/Ahmedi is relegated but migrant is elevated. That alone kills the 'land theory'.

And if it is about Islam, why are Muslim's not allowed into Pakistan like Israel does? Israel is a state for Jews and it practices what it stands for by taking in Jews. It does not quality or apply caveats to 'Jew'.

I am not being difficult or facetious but Pakistan nationalism sometimes can look like smokescreen for some privilaged groups to maintain economic/political monoply at the expense of others.

I

Nawaz Sharif is an enemy of the unity of this country
.

I did not say that :) and I don't feel he is an enemy of the unity. All I am saying that he can harm the country for his own goals. His ego is too strong to destroy national institution for his satisfying his bruised ego.

But why behave like him. Do we want to emulate the worst or the best.

If you are asking me about Parvez Khattak then I will say he is just another politician so he does carry some bad habits.

As I said in the past IK failed to groom his party bigwigs viz a viz good PR tactics. PTI lacks these altogether.

Pakistani Nationalism: Believe, regardless of the presence of many minorities and sects, that Pakistan is a sunni Muslim country only just as Jinnah (who wasn't sunni btw) envisioned and God's gift to this earth and that our armed forces are akin to the Prophet's (pbuh) loyal fearsome warriors who'll wipe the Hindu and Jew scourge from the planet once and for all and lead the human Islamic race into a new era of prosperity and peace. Bloody civilians ought to realise the worth of our armed forces and bow down in front of their masters.

Politicians have always been corrupt. Democracy is bad.

Oh, yeah, and if you ever dare question the doings of these sacred institutions, you're:
a) a foreign agent
b) a traitor to Pakistan
c) soon to be dead :D

Pakistan is for Muslims of the Indian subcontinent
That assertion has a bigger hole than Channel Tunnel.

1. Muslims are followers of a faith - Islam. As such there are no divisions or dividers in Islam. All are the ummah.
2. Indian Sub-Continent is a secular, British geographic construct.

These two contradict each other. You can't have one leg resting on Islam and another on legacy of British imperalism. This contradiction has to be resolved. What your saying is Islam has sanctioned two class of Muslims. First the British Indian Muslim and then the rest of the world Muslim.

What your saying is a Muslim from Yangon can move to Pakistan but a Muslim from Jalalabad cannot. I am sure you can see the absurdity here.

This is what nawaz Sharif does whenever in power. For him world revolves around north Punjab in general and Lahore in particular. I so wish the way sharifs have blocked kpk Sindh govt should block all the supplies to Punjab.it will even better if they block gas and electricity to Punjab too.

. .
So? He was pathan by blood line. In 100 years when pashto is replaced with urdu then pathan biraderi population will become 50%>> of Pakistan because even half of MQM is pathan descendent nad many others. And not to forget constant influx Afghani pathans in last 4 decades. Kiya yeh khula tazad nai? Marginalized punjabis population is becoming less and less in every census. Our land is being taken away by inmigrants in the name of Pakistaniat and Islam.
Please explain Aik Hazara Community ka banda Pathan kaisey ho sakta ? Ghenda Bhai Kya hogaya hay aaj apko ?

Hindus were never under any threat in KPK. Heard of Abdul Ghaffar Khan, he was a Pashtun nationalist and Hindu businessmen in KPK were one of his main financiers. He even had close ties with Indian Congress. Had we not joined in the Pakistan Movement our province would have been clubbed together with India and we would have been forced to assimilate with Hindu culture and become "Indianized"- a shameful and disgusting tag. People of KPK chose Pakistan for a reason, being a non-Pashtun you shouldn't lecture me about my province

He's Pashtun too.

@Kaptaan Look at it this way, Pakistan is a federation of contiguous Sunni Muslim states east of the Middle East (Iran).

By this definition, we should continue to expand westward and northward by forming supranational unions with neighboring Sunni states (and eventually include Iran as well).

This is not happening anytime soon and we should continue to focus on nation building at home. Pakistan is still in the making.

Another option, for those who don't agree with 'bigger is better' and would like to have their own breathing space - and I guess you are entertaining this thought - is to dissolve the federation into multiple ethno-linguistic states.

But that's a recipe for continued divide&rule of our lands by foreign powers.

As other regions are coming together to form large political unions to rival billion+ powers like China/India, for example the EU and GCC (there's also potential military/defence angle to these unions) - should we really be heading into the opposite direction?

If there are grievances, let us discuss and find solutions. Don't give into these feelings - our enemies will have the last laugh.

If you are a Pashtun you should no nobody can force us to assimilate. And exactly how the flying frig would KPK become part of India? It had and does not have contigious borders with India. Most probably ended joining with Afghanistan.

being a non-Pashtun
Say that to my face and you would on the horizontal axis very fast.

I would take to Hindu from KPK far faster then some convert from Bihar.

And I have no further interest in discussing with you - your tone suggests that I am some ignorant who does not know KPK history or the wider Pakistan movement etc.

.
I dont give a damn abt them, iam just saying there is no pathan PM from Past and the other thing is there is Hypocrisy of punjab on all other provinces.

just using a word, can you explain what is the hypocrisy

Well said. I sincerely hope so. All the best.

*PS. 1947 offered a opportunity to break away from British imposed union with the east. If people harbour any inclinations toward east then frankly 1947 should not have happened. I think if you read my posts you will be aware that I am al for tilt to the West Asia. I accept it can't happen right now but it must be a strategic goal.

Everyone in Pakistan welcomes this divorce from the east, with a sigh of relief!

One thing to be wary about, going forward, is that Pakistan doesn't fracture along Iranic vs Indic lines. Any source of friction should be quickly settled.

I agree pushing out Afghan migrants is one such source of friction. We should have kicked out all the illegal Banglas and Burmese from Karachi long ago, so the perception of bias towards Indian Muslims wouldn't exist today.

.
You are talking like Pashtun nationalist traitors who give more importance to their ethnic identity. We are Pakistani first, period. Much better off than Afghan Pashtuns. Stop badmouthing my country
Lol is this your first interaction with him? Kaptaan hates Indian Muhajirs to the guts o_O
@Areesh Check out Kaptaan's comment above lol

10/10. It would show equality and uniformity. Listen (below) to it all please - with specific referance to how transit passengers were allowed unhindred access into Pakistan, without any papers etc.
