take example of parsis who did very good job of building india pre-independence and also post-independence ..

There are many freedom fighters who are Sikhs, a smaller minority compared to Christians .Even parsis had joined freedom fight in bigger number compared to their size.

The only people who conspicuously stayed away from freedom fight were Christians and Anglo indians who are also Christians .
