Peaceful Hindu activists threaten Kerala Catholic nuns; nuns forced to change to civilian wear for safety

Then you should time-travel back to 1956 and prevent the Dalit leader, Babasaheb Ambedkar, and 365,000 of his followers from converting to Buddhism.

About scriptures, you travel farther back in time to 1927 and witness Ambedkar publicly burn the Hindu scripture Manusmriti.

Then you should travel back to current era and lecture the ghost of Dalit student Rohith Vemula on why he should not have committed suicide because of being oppressed by Upper Caste university officials and central government elements.

If you go to the thread about that incident I have said that the attack was wrong and the attitude of the girl's father was wrong.

Where were these ?

It takes a certain kind of fool to confuse between "castes" and "out castes". Dalits are out castes.

It was in the past the Hindus grated reservation in education and jobs for those same Dalits.

When was the last time muslims gave reservation to Non muslims ? to "KAFIRS" ? We all know what happened to Dalit Mondal when he believed Jinnah and went to pakistan.

Its established Rohit Vemula was NOT a dalit and his suicide was due to personal reasons. You can continue to flog that dead horse but will gain zero political mileage out of that. Also OFF TOPIC. SAME AS YOUR HINDUPHOBIC CASTE RANT.
It's a way to harass the Indian Christians, they want to trap the Dalits in the caste system forever

Dalits are NOT part of the caste system.

But don't let your ignorance keep you quite.

Yeah they are too low

So let them convert to other religions where they can be equal humans, why try to trap them forever

Dalits usually convert to Buddhism. They almost never convert to islam or xtianity.

Its the caste Hindus and Tribals who usually convert to xtianity for Money.

But like I said, don't let your ignorance keep you quite.

They just claim to convert to islam for the News value. Its not a real conversion.

After their demands are met, they revert back to their earlier religion.

It takes a certain kind of fool to confuse between "castes" and "out castes". Dalits are out castes.

What does "out castes" mean ?

And has that hair-splitting prevented Brahmins, Thakurs, Rajputs and other Upper Castes from discriminating against Dalits ?

Right on PDF there was a thread about a Dalit Indian army soldier who, during his wedding procession in his village, rode on a horse and the village's Upper Caste "elders" forced him to dismount from the horse.

When was the last time muslims gave reservation to Non muslims ? to "KAFIRS" ? We all know what happened to Dalit Mondal when he believed Jinnah and went to pakistan.

In Iraq during Saddam's time the Christian, Tariq Aziz, was Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister ( at different times ).

In the Syrian government and military there are Christians in important posts.

About early Pakistan, there were splits among Muslims too. Fatima Jinnah, when she was among the living, was disliked by the mullahs. And there were leftists who bided their time to take over the governance of the country.

Its established Rohit Vemula was NOT a dalit and his suicide was due to personal reasons.

I have written on this quite a few times.

Rohith was a Dalit because his mother was a Dalit. His mother was abandoned by her husband when he came to know that she was a Dalit. She lived in a Dalit ghetto along with her three children and thus Rohith identified himself and was raised as a Dalit and endured all the injustices and slights that Dalits endure, including an Upper Caste tuition teacher moving Raja Vemula's ( Rohith's brother ) drinking water glass with a pen.

You can read more of this in this article.

Also OFF TOPIC.

How ?

SAME AS YOUR HINDUPHOBIC CASTE RANT.

How am I being Hinduphobic ?

Dalits usually convert to Buddhism. They almost never convert to islam or xtianity.

And so the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh passed a law against "mass conversion" to prevent and actually punish Dalits converting en masse to Buddhism.

.
We do get such episodes when elections are around in Kerala. Last time church was attacked n after kejirwal won the elections, it was told that church was attacked by Christians themselves. Script repeated over n over again...

I am NOT interested in your whataboutry.

You want to discuss dalits and caste, open a new thread.

1. UP law makes conversion non-bailable with up to 10 years of jail time IF undertaken unlawfully, that is if "done through misrepresentation, force, undue influence, coercion, allurement, fraudulent means" or solely for marriage.

Everyone is free to convert individually. What is the need for "mass conversion" ?

Yeah, those 150 Bajrang Dal thugs who were there to "receive" those two nuns at Jhansi railway station, were secret agents of the Kerala Church.

What is the need for 150 Bajrang Dal activist for 2 nuns ? They were clearly travelling some where else. Probably for some function.

How are they "thugs" when they were the one's who called the Police ? In an attempt to prevent a possible crime.

I agree. Such non issues become news and get played up during Elections.

Elections makes even a rabid bigot seek Hindu or xtian votes. Here is one example,

.
What is the need for 150 Bajrang Dal activist for 2 nuns ? They were clearly travelling some where else. Probably for some function.

1. There were some BD activists travelling on the train and they behaved threateningly towards the two nuns.

2. About the reasons for the nuns to travel to Odisha I quote this article :
The postulants were dressed in civilian clothes while the nuns were in their religious habits. Since the postulants had joined the Sacred Hearts Congregation of the Delhi Province recently and were travelling to their home in Odisha for the first time, the two nuns had accompanied them. However, the Bajrang Dal members, who had boarded the train from Rishikesh in Uttarakhand, accused the nuns of forceful conversion.

3. Further, from the same article :
In the video, the men can be seen interrogating the postulants, who were forced to show their Aadhaar card. The workers were refusing to believe the postulants, who repeated that they were born Christians and were undergoing training to become a nun. The situation worsened when the police detained the four when the train reached Jhansi Railway station and reportedly questioned them for five hours based on the claims of the Hindu group.

According to a statement from the Syro-Malabar Church, the four women were let off after top officials verified their information. They were then transferred to the Jhansi Bishop’s House, after which they commenced their journey on March 21, with the Railway Police Protection.

On Monday, the Syro Malabar Church in Kerala also condemned the incident. They alleged that the attack was planned as more than 100 Bajrang Dal workers gathered in a short span of time. It was said that the nuns missed their train as the police detained them and had to travel in an unreserved compartment the next day.

How are they "thugs" when they were the one's who called the Police ? In an attempt to prevent a possible crime.

1. It is a matter of concern that the UP police spent so many hours investigating an incident from the point of view of the right-wing BD activists.

2. At least once before too the UP police took up a case on the instigation of right-wing Hindutvadi groups. Some months ago there was the case of a Hindu woman who married a Muslim and the group Hindu Yuva Vahini ( which was set up by the later CM Yogi Adityanath ) called up the UP police and wanted the police to break up the marriage and the woman's husband and his brother spent some time in jail and the woman, IIRC, was put into a rehabilitation center where she had a miscarriage.

No where does the report say they behaved "threateningly".

2. About the reasons for the nuns to travel to Odisha I quote this article :

3. Further, from the same article :

Why they traveled is irrelevant. They were suspected of being Missionaries and hence Cops were called. Sounds perfectly reasonable.

1. It is a matter of concern that the UP police spent so many hours investigating an incident from the point of view of the right-wing BD activists.

Why is it a "concern" when police listens to "right - wing BD activists" complaints ? That is their job. Are you suggesting that the police practice Arpathied ?

That you would say this itself shows your bigotry and Hinduphobia.

Rubbish.

The girl Eloped and the complaint was filed by the girls mother who was worried that the girl was Kidnapped. Girls father was a bed ridden invalid.

During investigation the suspect was arrested and jailed as is Standard Practice. The girl was sent to remand home as is Standard practice.

It is perfectly legal and as per established protocol and practices.

If the girl had a miscarriage how is it the police fault ? At best case can be filed against the remand home if there was any dereliction of duty.

All this could have been avoided if the girl or her husband had either taken permission for marriage or if they had informed parents of their marriage. The fault was clearly with the girl and her husband.
