I said he was misquoted, after seeing his tweet. He claimed he was misquoted. People here were not in a mood to accept his tweet, so that is why I later said retracted, for the sake of argument, even if he was not misquoted.

No damage is done, if we accept his statement and show to the people who think otherwise. He is a thorough patriot and has great following among SUNNI faction of our society and his father Shah Ahmad Noorani was one of the most respected religious and political leader of Pakistan.

Its not in Pakistan's interest to portray every opposition party as traitors. He was misquoted and He pointed it out. We should accept it and should punish the person who quoted his sentence out of context.
