I said he was misquoted, after seeing his tweet. He claimed he was misquoted. People here were not in a mood to accept his tweet, so that is why I later said retracted, for the sake of argument, even if he was not misquoted.
No damage is done, if we accept his statement and show to the people who think otherwise. He is a thorough patriot and has great following among SUNNI faction of our society and his father Shah Ahmad Noorani was one of the most respected religious and political leader of Pakistan.
I don't agree with his politics, but I am against calling anyone a traitor like this. Every anti-PTI and anti-establishment person is termed a traitor. This is wrong and it create disunity. Army chief himself advised to tolerate and take criticism positively.
