2 way SLI or 3 or 4 way??
Damn 1080 is way too costly for SLI..

nice, some of you guys are running some very impressive setups, my old 2011 build is still going strong

ASrock z77 extreme 4/CM Hyper 212 cooler/i5 2500k @ 4.4 Ghz
8 gig ram (don't remember which)
a Zotac gtx 970
CM 650 watt PSU
CM Storm red keyboard/mouse
19" Dell 1080p monitor/ Sony 44" LED
M Audio fast track pro/ sennheisser hd 380 pro/ cheap sony 2.1 speaker system

other peripherals:
saitek x 52 pro/pro flight pedals and a cheapo 90degree turning wheel and pedal combo

good enough to run most games at 60FPS with reasonably high settings.

@WebMaster I normally use it for X plane 10 and Flight Simulator X - As i am studying for my CPL (Commercial pilots licence)

But also,

Fallout 4, Crysis, Battlefield 4, Fry Cry, COD, CS Source list goes on...

nice, what kind of setup do you have for the sim in terms of pedals, yoke etc ? I have almost all the FTX sceneries, very nice for low and slow VFR when I casual sim. :)

thinking of getting a trackIR 5 but the damn thing is priced at thrice the retail price in India.

GPU is probably bottlenecked by CPU,just upgrade cpu and ram and you are ready for 2016

Use Saitek cessnayoke, its pretty basic, I did not want to spend too much, but for VFR and casual sim its great. A bit hard option setting up the force-feedback to work with 2 platforms and customized aircraft via CFG configs.
