I'm guess some of you must be anxiously awaiting for me to upload some pictures from Day 5 (Final Day) of the Air Show.
Rest assure, I will...tomorrow. Sorry guys, my Twins have been sick & I had to cut my day short there 'cause I had to rush back.
Anyways, though there were quite a few Questions asked earlier - there wasn't enough time for them to answer all.
Anyways, here are a few Questions answered...
Q2. Hard Point load increased?
Q5. internal jammer/ew in block 3 vs pods on older blocks?
Q7. chin new hardpoint can carry pods as well as bombs if needed?
A2. Yes
A5. No
A7. NO COMMENT
Finalized/Confirmed - NO LONGER BEING EVALUATED
Type being integrated - NO COMMENT.
Do Pakistani JF 17s Block IIs have PL 15 integerated on them as a BVR?
Is PL 15 being considered as a BVR for Block III?
Not just being considered, but already is featured.
Already answered the PL-15 (above) & Engine will remain the same Klimov RD-93, and not the Chinese Guizhou WS-13.
ask about
- JF-17 SOW options other than REK,
- Particularly about the integration of H-series and RA'AD BTW about RA'AD I am sure they will chose no comment as answer
Ask both PAC & Rokestan about SOM on JF17.
I didn't get around to ask about SOW (Stand Off Weapons) from PAC due time constraint
However, Rokestan did mention that it was very much possible based on the Weight Limitations on the Jet. But bottomline, it can be done on the JF-17 (tailor made) for PAF.
Q1. Is there possibility of a bigger badder medium multirole fighter that sits between JF17 and AZM??
Q2. Will PAC ever make it's own helos or a family of helos.
I believe
@fatman17 had already answered your questions...accurately. That's pretty much PAC's response.
Now I too had a couple of Questions of my own...
Q1. Was PAF considering AVIC's TK-31 as HMD?
A1. No - atleast not for the time being.
Q2. ...and finally, I stressed again on the First Test Flight.
A2. Date is set, but unlike the 1st & 3rd Day - I didn't get a date this time around.
SPOILER:
Even though I was covering the rest of the Air Show as well, a couple of friends...who too were lingering around the PAC told me that some big meetings were going on these past few days between PAC/PAF & AVIC/Catic.
There was also a representative from COLT (COLT Aviation) having a meeting with some PAC personnel yesterday.
