KARACHI: To make Pakistan Super League more colorful, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has contacted Canadian singer Justin Bieber to perform in opening of the event.

According to our correspondent, PCB has contacted Justin Bieber for the event; however, he has not so far assured about his availability.

“The PCB officials are in touch with Justin Bieber and are bargaining with him as he is demanding Rs.50 million to sing in the event,” a source said.

Reports said Pakistani singers Atif Aslam and Ali Zafar are also on PCB list for the opening gala.

The PSL Pakistan Super League 2017 is scheduled to begin on Feb 7th 2017 in UAE.

The PSL Draft for the second edition of the tournament was held on October 19 and all five teams announced their squads with most teams consisting of around 20 players from Pakistan and overseas.

Inviting an International artist will attract global attention a very sensible move........I really hoped that they had invited such a celebrity for the CPEC ceremony last month, instead they went for Amanat Ali, who hasn't delivered even a single hit so far. For PSL if Bieber isn't available should go for Sia.
