Urdu developed and got adopted by the Mughals later on.Thats fukin bullshit. Which “turks” you speakin bout? The Pashto speaking Gilzai aka Khiljis? Or the Persian speaking mughals?
It was the end of mughal empire when they started speaking urdu.. and even that doesnt make it ours.
Does that mean you are also against the Abdali, Ghauri and Ghaznavi missiles?
Do you think the masses even knew what Jinnah thought or did ?
My Grandfather told me bout his experience with Jinnah.
A thin tall man who spoke English to masses who applauded without even understanding what he was saying.
Ppl werent on fb or had cable and 9 o clock hustle with anchors dissing eachother and the govt.
Even bangali language movement didnt start till the late 50s.
But yes he should have chosen Persian instead of Urdu. It was a language already spoken and understood by the people. And it had similarities with all the regional languages.
So what made people applaud him when they couldn't understand him?
What would happen if English achieves that? Would Pakistan become a developed country? If speaking English = being educated then only English language should be taught for the first 5 years in school. Children spend 6 hours in school. if they spend 6 hours everyday on learning English then all or most of them would be able to read and write in English after 5 years. Other subjects like science history etc should be taught from class 6
If English is chosen, it will restore the martian pride which is hurt by speaking Urdu.
