Most of the people they interact with are Muslim Pakistanis who for the most part dont understand Gujrati so fluency in the language that is spoken widely in the city they live in is naturalI'm guessing one of the reasons they speak such fluent Urdu and very little accent is because maybe they're slowly losing Gujarati. Just a guess.

Despite their tiny numerical strength they made a big impact
Met a few Gujarati speaking Pakistanis originally from Karachi in the US. But I guess their interaction with Parsis might be limited. Also, Bombay is pretty much their only bastion.
