Parsis proud of the their Pakistani identity - BBCURDU

. . . .
I'm guessing one of the reasons they speak such fluent Urdu and very little accent is because maybe they're slowly losing Gujarati. Just a guess.
Most of the people they interact with are Muslim Pakistanis who for the most part dont understand Gujrati so fluency in the language that is spoken widely in the city they live in is natural

It's the same here, since Parsis moved en masse from Gujarat to Mumbai about 300+ years ago.

But here even at home and especially in Parsi Baugs (colonies) we speak Gujarati. Especially the older generations. So the kids usually pick up from their grandparents.

It's tougher in nuclear households where both parents usually speak English.

Cheers, Doc

Met a few Gujarati speaking Pakistanis originally from Karachi in the US. But I guess their interaction with Parsis might be limited. Also, Bombay is pretty much their only bastion.

why do the first language of most of the Parsis is English? i am curious to know

From my experience being brought up in Karachi, most Parsis were and are highly educated and take education very seriously and it reflected in their linguistic choice as well.

What we see prevalent among Pakistanis now, as in more and more educated masses using English more and more. Westernized or otherwise, Parsis were always at ease speaking English simply because they could just as they do now.

Despite their tiny numerical strength they made a big impact

Many Gujarati speaking Agha Khanis and Memon Gujarati community in Karachi as well....Karachi does have a strong Parsi community, small though as they have found Canada and US as their new abode.
