How the hell all the writ petitions landed before a bench comprising of Justice Farukh and Justice Imtiaz? High court's benches are ready-made mostly and it's not a rule a case fixed for a bench can't be referred to another bench, normally a case keeps on revolving around different benches. Match fixing ke bhi koi had hoti hay ke nahe?

The verdict on JIT report will be announced by three judges, however I am not sure whether or not the declaration given by minority judges shall count.
It should count. I mean, it makes no sense to discard it only because it was against NS.

It is quite simple.

SC made a 5 member bench.
2 members decided that NS is a thug and should be sent home
3 asked for further probe by JIT. They will decide in light of new evidence found.
At the end, the remarks/verdict of all 5 will be counted.

It wont make much sense if we just discard the two judges who have already said that NS is a chor!

BTW, loved this:

@Farah Sohail @PakSword

Now after Nisar's rebuttal to Geo, some media houses will chime in and play up the Nisar issue.

Nawaz wanted point blank sweeping support from Nisar (since he hasn't defended Sharif on Panama issue at all).

Writing on the wall term wasn't used by Nisar but by another minister.

Nisar was asked point blank about his opinion after Dar Group members chimed in with their opinions.

Nisar was put in the spot, and awkward silence and two liner statement which wasn't music to ears of Dar group or Kulsoom favorites you can say hence my earlier references to PMLK :)

Only a miracle can save NS was used by another Minister that has already been discussed in my post earlier.

Things are really fun in Islamabad for those who despise $harifs as much as I do :)

Enjoy and cheers!!!!!

Pro PML N media houses are still sayinng even after Nisar's rebuttal to geo tht Nisar gave all out suport to NS.. Salman ghani of dunya news said..ke Ch nisar said ...agar main aap se wafadar nahi tu phir hasan aur hussain bi aap se wafadar nahi...

So whats your prediction of things to come on Monday, Will NS and gang going to be disqualified? Will they face any jail time? Will new elections be called? or an inhouse change is going to take place because they still have a majority in the Parliament

They wont be disqualified on monday... Abhi tu JIT report par arguments honi hain... Phir i think verdict main disqualification..uske baad NA. Main cases..like Justice Khosa and Gulzar have done in their verdict.. Jail accountability courts main saza honay ke baad hogi

Mrs Kalsoom Nawaz is clean in this case no?

JIT ne apni report main kisi sharif family member ko nahi chora.. Kulsoom nawaz ko bhi likh diya ..ke she has assets beyond her income

If Nawaz gets disqualified and his three out of four children convicted, Kulsoom (which I had been referring to as PMLK :) is ONLY option. No Dost Mohammad Khosa type of experiment can't be afforded now.
!

JIT ne bhi is baar pakka kaam kiya hai.. Kisi family member ko nahi chora inhon ne...

In the last section..of assets beyond income of respondents.. They have discussed kulsoom nawaz seperately too..and said tht her assets are beyond her income...

And in the end they have referred to relevant NAB sections and qanoon e shhadat..

Nawaz Sharif should resign himself or face the same fate as PM Gelani of PPP.

Nawaz Sharif should himself resign because never before in the history of the nation has someone at the top been so disgracefully and complete exposed.

Nawaz Sharif is not just an accused, his financial embezzlement and practices against the law of the land has been found out as a result of a criminal investigation by the highest court of the country.

Nawaz Sharif has been proved a criminal by the JIT based on not only and just circumstantial evidence but documentary evidence, and not just documentary evidence but statements given by accused himself and his kin and not just falsified statements but due to presenting falsified and fake documents to JIT but in Supreme Court of Pakistan.

This is uncovering of undeniable proof against a sitting PM is unprecedented and if Gelani can go due to far far less then this is cause is of titanic proportions that one way or the other the PM should go or or or......
.....
...
We should abolish this crime and punishment farce of a system and let everyone in jails go free.

This chart is given in the Hill Metal / Gifts Volume of the JIT report. Thank you @QatariPrince.

A case of Foreign funding to PMLN? Since Hussain Nawaz is admittedly a British citizen...

Mr. Prime Minister!! now only a miracle can save you, See the writing on the wall - Chaudhry Nisar to Nawaz Sharif

In yesterday's meeting of the cabinet, when Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif started the last agenda item, i.e., the issue of the popular demand for his resignation, the response of the ministers was predictable. That is, approval of PM's decision to not resign, followed by an applause. But not all the ministers were in a mood to please their leader.

According to sources privy to the proceedings of the meeting, when the Prime Minister opened the discussion on this agenda item, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had no qualms offering his leader his honest advice. Sources have confirmed to Daily Times that the minister categorically said in the meeting, “Mr. Prime Minister, now only a miracle can save you”. He was implying, as per those present in the meeting, that the PM should see the writing on the walls and must take a decision on the matter keeping in view the ground realities and the serious problems he was facing.

The PM reportedly got worked up the interior minister’s comment and told him that he should have expressed his opinion in private rather than in the cabinet meeting.

According to the official, the participants of the cabinet meeting had started thumping their desks when the PM said he had no intention of resigning in the wake of the damning report of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed on orders of the SC to probe money laundering allegations against the PM and his family.

Sources within PML-N said the minister has been a 'dissenter at large' in the party who has never indulged in sycophancy and blind support of perceived wrong doings of the regime.

When asked about the information, the office of the PM refused to comment, while a spokesperson for the interior ministry said he was not privy to this discussion. Daily Times, nonetheless, spoke to two different sources and got the same information.

Meanwhile, Islamabad remained abuzz with rumours that a forward bloc from PML-N was ready to ditch Sharif. This scribe has learnt through a reliable source that at least 40 PML-N MNAs have been contacted by a senior leader of PML-Q. While the ruling party's MNAs have given no commitment, they have been open to discussion. It should be remembered that many PML-Q politicians had defected to the Nawaz league before the 2013 elections and others joined Nawaz Sharif's camp once he gained power. Speaking to Daily Times, an analyst stated “this is nothing new as politicians from the Punjab sense which way the wind is blowing and change parties. They have been continuing this practice since the country's inception.”

The consensus within close circles to PML-N is that Sharif will not resign. The battle in the SC might linger for months now. But it seems that Nawaz Sharif’s last year will be the toughest for his government and his political future.
