That is true and I do appreciate it, but it is not so easy as well.

The public reaction can be disproportionate, particularly if the "agencies" support him from behind the scenes.

Even without agencies support if any institution (for example EC) disqualifies him then he can go to SC.

In reality, disqualifying a mainstream politician is not easy.

IK ko disqualify karnay ki koshish horahi hai.. aur PTI ko ban!

Case SC main hi tou chal raha hai...

Apparently, he is coming short of providing some little evidences.. 5000$ ka case lagta hai..

@Farah Sohail - this JIT is not functioning on "concensus" or no report principle. It's not even like 4-2 or 5-1 or even 6-0, it's just Qs & Ans.

It's on a principle:

Give answers, score 100% and distribute mithai!

Well! in that case it cannot be described as "IK ko disqualify karney kee koshish ho rahee hey".

I really don't mind if SC makes a decision on merit....and on merit it will not be disqualification or throw the PTI out of the elections. At the most SC will snub him/PTI with heavy fine and that will be a good thing for the country.

YES! and the burden of proof is on shareefs

Haan but, 5 - 10 thousand dollars ke liey poori party ko ban karne ko qanooni tou keh saktay hain, insaaf pe mubni faisla nahi keh saktay..

CJ of SC has done a chitrol of Haneef Abbasi and Daniel Aziz today. I think the CJ has put a "block" anticipating the coming weeks. Both are now on notice from the CJ. Any further wrong move or step can result in arrests.

True! but the ban is not a certainty....a hefty fine is an option. May be some lawyer can comment in a better way - i.e., what different (or range of) punishments SC can give. In law, there are usually range of punishments rather than a single option. The judge then decides which punishment is applicable in a particular case.

There are 2 diff legal opinions on this.. Even Amir Mateen discussed this in his prog tht I discussed with lawyers and lawyers are divided on this issue..whether Justice akhosa and Gulzar's verdict will be counted or not? Or majority of this 3 member bench is needed?

Abt Justice Ijazul Ahsan.. I am quite hopeful he will be convinced against NS... So if theres only one more vote needed....then we are hopeful

@PakSword ab phir se dil chah raha hai ke in 2 judges ke liye tribute thread create kiya jaaye...esp jo aaj hua hai,....uske baad............ Aaj phir se un dono ke liye duaaein nikal rahi hain, dil se

If they fine PTI $500,000 being 100 times of $5,000 then applying same principle on rescheduling, default and written off amount Rs 35billion X 100 = 3,500billion plus money laundering of 6.3billion X 100 = 630billion so a total of 4,130 billion fine for $N$ that's more than 60% of Pak's external debt.

I vote for heavy penalties on both parties; equivocally and justifiably so!
