It was sent in, but requested to be withdrawn later after realizing how big of a blunder it could be. FHF and his comrades had desperately tried to dig deep into not only Justice Khosa's professional and personal life (as he. is related to N$'s biggest nemesis Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa) but also tried their best to dig out Nasir Khosa's (DMG) and even Tariq Khosa (FIA) any allegiance/link, as they thought something could be brought up against Justice Asif Saeed Khosa.
This irritated SS a lot as he hold Nasir Khosa in extremely high esteem and even recommended him as Secretary to PM in 2013 and when he came to know about it, he was furious that what is lackeys of N$ are upto and intervened and tried to put some sense into Nawaz gang.
Nawaz group headed by Maryam is most venomous against Justice Asif Saeed Khosa as she still believes in miracles that somehow she and her family would be again at helm of Pakistan's affairs in 2018 and then their govt would be again dealing with most probably not only an upright CJP but also a vocal one who is not shy of expressing his opinions unlike Justice Jamali or Saqib Nisar. That will be a nightmare for any party like PMLN who relishes by controlling the pillars of state.
So those who think that Media Cell aka MC of Maryam is kaput are not so right, it is not just controlling the media affairs but she has been firing shots in foreign affairs as well.

On Aug 17, 2017 this was tweeted clearly stating she has gone to U.K. to get her sons back to Pakistan
I guess Ghulam Hussain today got the wind of it as well.

So NS group couldnt dig out a single controversial point from Justice Khosa's and his brothers' careers and personal life??
Am sure .if they had actually found something..they would never have backed off..even if Shabaz Sharif intervened.. The fact tht they couldnt find anything against them to exploit and had to rely only on certain remarks from panama case judgment, is what made them to backoff
We should be so proud of this family.. They surely are a rare breed in Pakistani bureaucracy... So happy to know..tht we will be having such an upright person like Justice Khosa as our next CJP, whom none could blackmail... But the only thing which saddens me, is that he will be CJP for only 11 months.. Its too short a time period for him to be able to implemental structural and procedural reforms in judiciary

What will Nawaz The Draam e Baaz do if she wins? He will scream further on mike and damage his throat. He will die screaming. Otherwise of course he will die silent.
The queen Kalsoom Nawaz didn't bother to appear in the constituency for once. Dr. Yasmin Rashid is working very hard, she'll get the reward.

Myself and all these people you mentioned have one thing and one thing alone at heart! To get what is best for the country. The approach and though process might be difficult but the desired end result is same for all of us.

@PakSword bro - We discussed this (highlighted above in red) on April 25th, 2017 and after 4 months the scenario is pretty much the same and anti status quo group of ours can be some what assured that with each passing day the situation is even more enjoyable

PBC slams the reference that never was
ISLAMABAD: It seems the controversy surrounding the ‘mysterious’ reference against Supreme Court Justice Asif Saeed Khosa is not likely to die down anytime soon. The Pakistan Bar Council has now claimed that the National Assembly speaker was about to file a complaint against the judge, but almost immediately recalled his secretary, who was tasked with filing it.
PBC Vice Chairman Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon, on behalf of the legal fraternity, has issued a statement claiming that the Speaker Ayaz Sadiq initially had the reference filed but withdrew it after learning of the consequences of filing a frivolous reference against a judge of the superior court. Talking to The Express Tribune, he confirmed that the NA secretary came to the Supreme Court to file a complaint with the Supreme Judicial Council but then left without actually filing it.
“We have accurate information that the NA secretary came to file a reference, but after realising the adverse consequence of filing it, he took away the draft “, says the PBC vice chairman.
A four-page draft of a reference against Justice Khosa, the head of the five-member bench that disqualified former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, was first aired on a private TV channel and later on other media outlets.
No one from the office of NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq clarified it for hours and even Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi did not explicitly deny it when confronted by the media in Quetta.
Much later that day, Attorney General Ashtar Ausaf Ali said no reference had been filed against Justice Khosa.
Likewise, PBC Vice Chairman Ahsan Bhoon and the executive committee chairman took strong exception to motivated move of the ruling party with regard to the reference against an SC judge, which they felt was an attempt to pressurise the judiciary.
Both PBC representatives warned the “people behind the ill-advised move” to refrain from resorting to targeting the judiciary in an attempt to frustrate the possible outcomes of criminal cases being initiated by NAB courts
“It is highly condemnable that the ousted prime minister, his children, and close family members instead of facing trial in NAB courts over the money laundering charges against them, have started, through their cronies, using illegal tactics to pressurise the judiciary to sabotage the process of accountability initiated against them as a result of the historic judgment of the Supreme Court in the Panama Leaks case against them”, says the statement.
The PBC vice chairman and executive committee chairman also announced that any move to pressurise the judges or the judiciary as an institution would be considered a hindrance in the process of dispensation of justice and would be opposed by the legal fraternity with full force to safeguard the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary.

if the reference wasn't leaked in media, they were definitely going to file it ... looking at the reaction they withdraw it .... TBH i really wanted them to commit this mistake !!
The thing is, she is just a card. She is not a master card. Catching at a straw, this last straw won't save them either.

I think they withdrew mainly because they couldnt find anything against him, except panama case remarks.. If they had found even an iota of misconduct or wrongdoing by him or any of his family members....they would have never backed out... It was obvious tht this frivolous reference was to go into the raddi ki tokri, and then legal action against those who filed the reference..so they withdrew
