Good news. NAB to file sub reference in Azizia Steel Mills case against Kulsoom Nawaz, Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza along with the other accused chor tubbar.

Confusion: Some news outlets are quoting NAB that an enquiry has been ordered at the same time and sub-references shall be filed after investigation completes against accused.

Al-Azizia case: NAB approves supplementary reference against Sharifs

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved a supplementary reference against the Sharif brothers in the Al-Azizia and Hill Metal cases.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Executive Board, which was chaired by NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Monday.

Investigations will also be conducted against Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif over transfer of suspicious amounts.

Meanwhile, an inquiry has been approved against Hamza, Maryam Nawaz and Kulsoom Nawaz.

Waisyek cheez samajh nahi aarahi.. why is Nihal Hashmi's review petition being heard by a different bench? Review petition tu hamesha same bench sunta hai.. J Khosa headed the bench on Nohal Hashmi's case.. now his review petition is being heard by bench headed by CJ... ye kaisy??

Bay shak, the nature of the ceremonial punishment is to instil some humility and reflection in the hearts and minds of the deranged perpetrator. Somebody who does some contempt in the spur of the moment like burst of emotions.

The contempt law seems toothless against those who are doing deliberate, planned and organized contempt with the aim to malign the state institutions.

The courts may see this whole episode of contempt in the larger scheme of events and therefore, the wider scope of other relevant applicable laws and punishments for crimes against state such as open rebellion and incitement to violence against state shall come into focus:

عدالت نے دانیال عزیز کا جواب غیرتسلی بخش قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ دانیال عزیز پر 13 مارچ کو فردِ جرم عائد کی جائے گی۔ جسٹس عظمت سعید نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ قانون کے مطابق انصاف ہوگا، آپ کے مؤکل نے پاناما کا مکمل ریکارڈ نہیں پڑھا، الفاظ خود بولتے ہیں۔ جسٹس عظمت سعید نے کہا کہ میں 14 سال سے جج ہوں لیکن کبھی کسی کے خلاف توہین عدالت کا نوٹس نہیں لیا، میں نے تو عدالتی فیصلوں میں یہاں تک لکھا ہے کہ فیصلوں پر اچھے اور برے تاثرات کا اظہار کرسکتے ہیں لیکن اب میں خود تنگ آچکا ہوں۔​
