PTI has 32 out of which Ayesha Gulalai will vote for PP. There are 4 or 5 more missing (have changed party and PTI didn't file case in ECP against those MNAs). So I think PTI is left with 26-27.

MQM has 24, out of which 8-10 are mafroor.. lets take 14.. so 26 + 14 = 40.

Sh. Rasheed has 3

APML has 1.. so the number becomes 44..

Independent are 10.. If they agree with PTI, the number will still be less that the required..

rest are supporting ppp These include JI (4), PML Q (2), PKMAP (3) etc..

Now here is a confusion.. will it be 66 (because total opposition seats are 131) or less (as many are absent now, such as MQM).

So if there are two candidates, and PP only scores 55, PTI will only have to surpass that number.. that is easier if all independents vote in favor of PTI.

So PTI 26, MQM 14, Others 4, Ind 10.. it becomes 54.. still PTI will have to convince a couple or two in its favor..

Forget abt it...

Then we must also forget about NAB cases, as the next Chairman NAB is more loyal to NS than the current one..

Plus nigraan setup bhi PMLN aur PPP ki marzi ka lagega.... phir wohi dhandli hogi tika ke..

We were not very wrong to assume that MNS would not return to Pak anytime soon to face NAB references. His short stopover at trial court was just an eye wash. If you are a part of a party, you can't vote against the party leader, you can only abstain from voting. Gulalai can't vote for PPP.

Also according to a program I watched yesterday, Diesel's party will vote as opposition for Khursheed Shah when the vote happens.
