I dont know.. Now i am doubtful abt it... System is too rotten.. CJ is just one amongst others... He cant sit in all benches.. Also, main problem are the high courts..esp Lahore and Islamabad high courts where 90% judges seem to be in sharif family's pockets... How can a CJ undo all that? Adjournments, delays etc are part and parcel of our legal system.
Just look at the behavior of accountability court judge today... When NAB told him..tht security officer received the summons..he wasnt interested in it.. Norm is tht..if summons get publicised on media..then even tht is considered suffocient in other cases... Here..media has been screaming all these days abt these summons...yet judge totally ignored this...that ist not possible..tht they didnt know abt these summons.. Esp whem Maryam herself said tht sharif family wont appear in accountability court.. So its not possible..tht they were inaware of these summons.. What judge has done today..is tht..he has ensured that today's summons dont count.. Ater 2summons..warrants are issued..but he has ignored today's summons..as having not received..lollll
Our system is just too too rotten.. Justice Khosa..wont be able to change this singlehandedly, in just 11 months..even if he wants.. Because system is just too rotten..
We all know that this system, i.e. it's laws and judice was always tweaked to support the mighty and powerful, hence, our state of affairs reflect that of a society lacking social justice and where there are two parallel justices, one for the commoners and the other for the elites.
How can, the so called one of the best journalist does not challenge the answer of a daughter(known perjurer and forgerer claim that they have committed no crime to face NAB) of a proven liar (who's own brother rejects his docs as fake) and who's contradictory statements about their own assets don't match their income or tax returns and beyond lavish life styles.
Most Politicians are corrupt, most journalists are corrupt, we find that Establishment too has been corrupt, the people on the streets find the corrupt acceptable, even flourishing, all this simply because our judicial system is corrupt and always tilts to accommodate the filthy rich and powerful corrupt elite.
A society is doomed where justice is not being done.
Why is PTI looking docile after Panama verdict, because the powerful in PTI core leadership are corrupt to the core too and their advice is to watch how things unfold, apart from IK and a few like Asad Umer, Andaleeb Abbas and other "Nazriatis". Instead of defying ECP, IK should have tried to settle the matter in its early stages like Naeem Bukhari must have suggested.
