Imagine orange line train ka kia faisla aayega? Jis main advocate bench ka head hai,,aur pakora judge bhi uss bench main hai

Waqayi pakora judge ne legal aur moral honesty ka keh kar sab se bara mazaq kiya hai.. Pata nahi..unhein andaza bhi hai ke kia likha diya hai?? Ke morally dishonest hona..is Ok for a OM. And it has legal cover....

Mujhe lagta hai ke agar tu advocate ki wajah se ye bench tootta hai,,aur new bench banta hai..i am almost sure phir Justice Khosa aur Gulzar shayad nahi honge.. Ye dono khud hi hatt jayein ge.. Main ne parha hai...ke in NRO implementation case...uss waqt ke attorney general Irfan Qadir ne kaha gha..ke we dont want Justice khosa in the bench... As he is biased against us.. Tu phir woh khud uss bench se hatt gaye thay.. I am not sure abt it...but parha tha.. Lekin phir woh yusif Raza Gilani wala case kon sa tha..jis main unhon ne poem likhi thee? Wh NRO wala case tha..ya contempt of court case tha?

If this is true...Imagine ab PML N unke baaray mian kiya kya kahay gi? He will be there only, if all 5 judges are there..and its exactly the same bench.. Warna agar advocate ki wajah se..ek bhi new judge add hua..tu shayad phir ye Justice Khosa aur Gulzar khud hi hatt jayein ge case se...

Logically, he do not needs to be there. Two judges have already said what they think.
3 asked for some further probe into some points. The JIT report is actually for them to make up there mind. If even one is convinced that NS is a chor, it should mean a 3-2 decision against NS

Justice Ejaz Afzal in May 2018, Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry in December 2015, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed in August 2019, will be retired

Yup, may be he wil be given some extension so this case can be closed or may be some other judge will replace him. The two judges who have already declared NS fishonest have sort of given there verdict already. It is the three judges that need JIT to work and uncover some more facts for them.

Can judges bhi given extension too? Are there any such precedents???

As much as ai want advocate to retire at the earliest... However if he is given extension for this case...it will be good for us.. Because then Justice Khosa and Justice Gulzar will be there in the bench.........Aah the irony, tht we want Advocate to stay for some time!!!!.....ppl like Justice Wajihuddin and PML N 's Zafar Ali Shah think..tht after JIT completes its work..it will come before the same panama bench of 5 judges.. They said..consider verdict of 20th April to be an interim order.,,and this case will come back to these 5 judges.. However as I said..if because of Advocate's retirement..new bench HAS to be formed...then most probably..these two dissenting judges will excuse themselves, from hearing this case any further

Waisy pakora judge bhi inke qareeb qareeb hi hian.. Ziada farq nahi hai, in dono main.. I have nothing much against Justice Ijazul Ahsan..but pakora aur advocate are hopeless cases

Waisy.. I am really excited abt the time..when Justice Khosa becomes the chief Justice.. Want to see,,,how he conducts himself then..and how does he try to improve judiciary.?. Waisy tu woh aksar apni speeches main kehtay hain ke cases ko jaldi jaldi decide karna chahye...judges should try to ensure speedy justice...even talked abt it in his book.... So want to know ..how will he improve judiciary..and what steps he will take?

However... theres one bad news.. I read he will be chief justice for only a year..from Jan 2019 - Dec 2019... Thts a very short time..to be able to bring some change in judiciary

Kiun ke baad main tu bas ek aadh hearing main hi khatam hojana hoga case..

Theres one problem though.. Advocate is retiring in 1 or 2 months... And JIT will complete its work in 60 days...tu shayad retirement beech main aajayegi....

Justice Saqib Nisar will be chief justice for two years and 17 days. Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa will then assume the charge as chief justice. He will be CJP for 11 months and three days. Justice Atta Muhammad Bandial will become chief justice for one year

Abhi ek JIT monitoring bench banay ga....which will probably be a smaller bench

Lets see....who is in the final bench? But yes.. Justice Qazi Faiz Isa must be there, in the final bench..if its a new one

Panama JIT: Has Army been trapped?

On Monday, Pakistan Army, pledged to play its role in the Panama Investigations, by participation in the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) as directed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. DG ISPR issued a press release, after the 202nd Corps Commanders Conference.

Has any JIT ever delivered?
This press release has further compounded the debate going on in the country regarding the wisdom and effectiveness of a JIT, being created and supervised by the Supreme Court. None of the JIT’s constituted in the past few years has met public confidence or any yardstick of justice comparable to best international practices. “Model Town JIT” of 2014/15 is a case in point. It is widely perceived that it was used not to find the truth but to bail out the high ups in Punjab government responsible for the killings. JIT merely helped to water down the findings of the report of Justice Baqar Najfi of Lahore High Court; both the “Baqir Report” and JIT report were never made public. Many serious questions had thus already risen with regard to the effectiveness of this latest JIT Team for Panama; answers to which are, as of yet not clear.

JIT: Issues of Capacity, especially of Army officers?
The Joint Investigation Team, as constituted by the Supreme Court decision, will be composed of representatives from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), State Bank of Pakistan, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Inter-Services Intelligence and Military Intelligence.

None of the JIT’s constituted in the past few years has met public confidence or any yardstick of justice comparable to best international practices. “Model Town JIT” of 2014/15 is a case in point. It is widely perceived that it was used not to find truth but to bail out the high ups in Punjab government responsible for the killings.

The first and foremost question is regarding the capacity in which these individuals forming the JIT will be acting. Will they have access to the resources of their respective institutions or will they be acting as individuals and using their own expertise and judgment? These concerns become all the more important in the case of the representatives of the military. How will their individual skills be relevant to the case at hand? In this country, JITs have, unfortunately, a history of being notoriously non-consequential when it comes to investigating the government hence it is imperative that the veil of ambiguity surrounding these questions be lifted.
