This is pretty old news my friend. Don't know why you wanted to bring it up.

I don't care what people say but there are stuff that you can put in a Children's show and stuff that you can't. This is simply ridiculous. This kind of hate-spewing is unacceptable in ANY country and will only worsen the already terrible relations between Israel and Palestine. If children are the hope for Israeli-Palestinian peace, is this the kind of future you want to see?

My mistake, I just came across it on 'you have been watching'. The most disturbing part of it is how the message in the show fits the over all political environment. A view like this introduced at such an early age will likely never change.

I guess there's little wonder that the peace talks just failed.

The U.S. and Israel certainly aren't innocent but neither is suicide bombing of civilian population centers. If we tell our next generation to keep up the killing when are these tragedies going to end?

I hope you can see the ethical issue with handfeeding politicized hate to children. Children don't come into this world with baggage, it would be immensely unfair to saddle them with it.

I'm not defending the U.S./Israelis bombing of civilian centers either bro and I firmly oppose the War in Iraq. However I bet that you can't find U.S./Israelis (not main stream, any ways) children's cartoon promoting the bombing or extermination of Arabs. Brushing the politics aside I just find it extremely immoral exposing children (some of whom 3 to 4 years old!) to this kind of material.

p.s. The Japanese revisionist history shows that they are insecure about their past. I don't really hate them for doing that... I pity them.

Nope, they white-washed their involvement and responsibility in WWII, they don't teach hate. Please learn the issues if you're going to raise the point.

and no one here is doing the same whitewashing about Israeli responsibility for Civilian death.

The thing is, it ends up being a cycle of violence and hate. Any Israeli kid who is shown this video will start hating the Palestinians. So basically hate will just last. One day, one of them will shoot/bomb some innocent civilians. and that will start a chain of violence, with both sides fueling the hatred for each other. It just won't end until both sides decide to end it. But the key is that one side has to take the first step. And it takes a humanitarian and a great leader to make an entire nation take such a step.

The world needs another Gandhi.
