Israel is in complete shock. Dozens of Israeli's captured (soldiers and settlers). Over 100 Israeli soldiers and police special forces killed. Israeli's are not releasing anything on casualties. It's the videos which attest to the casualties inflicted on them. Also, an Israeli official killed, in response to Israeli assassination's of Palestinian officials.

No doubt Israel wants to butcher Palestinian civilians after it gets situation under control. The next decision they make may cause eruption of a regional war.
