Why?
  • 2 million happy British Pakistanis live here
  • They are not persecuted, denigrated or second-class
  • Pakistan and UK has great trade links
  • UK population is socially fair to Pakistanis
  • They have historic friendly ties
  • They are free to openly practise their culture and faith
  • Pakistanis are in local and national Government
Pakistanis have a better quality of life and standard of living in the UK than other allies such as the US, China, Europe or Middle East. I cant think of any other country in the planet with better relations.

Pakistanis need to come forward and play active role across the major power centers in world. Our new generation is educated and very patriotic. What Pakistan lack is lack of opportunity. Pakistanis abroad are successful simply because of level playing field. I suppose every Pakistani should do lobbying for the country at the same time expose Indian hinduvata face.

You find two types of British Pakistanis here. The first are educated, creative and aspirant. The second are more thugs and 'gangstas'. They both are family-oriented hard working people. They are on average more wealthy than the average white-British person.

That is true. But this trend is not unique to UK. You ll see in US, the number of Pakistani doctors and business men will astonish you. Pakistanis in Dubai may not have equal rights but they are still a big force in terms of owning business and stuff.

APPNA is like the 3rd largest Doctors association in North America

In 2012 there were around 8000 British Pakistani doctors and around 3375 visiting Pakistani doctors in the UK.

They toe the American line very well, which means they likely have some degree of participation in all their programs to destabilise Pakistan. Anyway, some of your other points are valid, but there is still a large amount of prejudice in this country.

True, but that's the case with minorities in all societies, especially if you look different.

I think the best thing is that if you want to be 100% Pakistani you can, openly. And if you want to be western you can, openly. In fact you can be anything, openly.

In terms of charitable people, if you look at charity workers in places all around the world they tend to be of Pakistani descent. Most people in relief zones are Pakistani aid workers. They seem to be very charitable.

Not when they label anyone darker than vanilla a "****" or when they damage/protest your local mosque or when the media makes it seem like all the men are rapists

Look at Sajid Javid, he had to go full uncle-Tom white worshipping just to get his own party to promote him

There's only been a handful of incidents. Compare that to the US when they burn down, bomb and shoot up places of worship for fun.

I've experienced all of these so it must be much more than a "handful of incidents", America is a really low bar to compare to and im just pointing out that the picture is not as rosy as you make it seem

There's a trend going on in society described as polarisation, within all communities. Peoples are choosing to become more liberal or more conservative. In terms of your personal experience I guess that would be because you've chosen to become more conservative.

In terms of 'acceptance' most Pakistani people are Islamic.

Islam is a 'western faith' (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) as compared to a 'eastern faith' (Shintoism, Sindoism, Taoism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Jainism etc.)

Therefore being a British Pakistani would be 'more faith compatible' than a Pakistani in an eastern-faith country like India or Tibet or a communist country like Russia or China.
