Pakistan’s T129 deliveries ready despite delays

@Oscar as noted earlier, the T129s are coming off lines meant for the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK). So it seems we're basically paying for them via layaway terms (cash on hand). It also seems that we'll basically get the same variant being inducted by Turkey in that time period (shared overhead cost?). If we can't get a batch of birds, the birds just go to Turkey (and vice-versa).

. . . .
do you think that language like this will encourage him to sign the licenses for exports of Turkish weaponry - containing American tech - to Pakistan?

Trump also has issues with Turkey right now. So that is why that man-child wont let licenses be issued to them.

Well which country Trump does not have issue with that is also friends with? Saudi Arabia. And Saudis dont manufacture anything.

Here is my question, what kind of unspeakable idiotic moron do you have to be if you are a Pakistani General/Air Marshal/Politician to buy any sort of equipment which requires US approval for delivery, especially in this climate? The relations are so bad and there are strings on everything. This should have been anticipated and either another engine or a different chopper should have been selected. An slightly inferior chopper (WZ-10) in your hand is better than nothing in the bush. Word should have been made clear to Turkey, secure the export agreements and then we fork over the cash. This concept of paying on layaway is like Pre-Pressler mindset all over again, with the only redeeming thing being that it is Turkey you are dealing with rather than the US so you may get your money back if they cant deliver, and definitely wont get soy beans in return.

Im starting to sympathize with @MastanKhan's traitor comments.

Americans will be back, couple of years or even earlier Trump will be gone. US needs us more than we need them. Pakistan generals know that. If you and Mastan don’t that it’s his and your problem. American end in Afghanistan will be worst than that of the Britishand the Russians. BTW no payments have been made to the Turks so nothing for Pakistan to loose. What would second hand car salesperson in California (aka Mastan) know about multi billion arms deals? Are you a proxy for him?

Have to agree with you Tank. The only logical conclusion that comes to mind is "Kickbacks". Or the less sinister option, keep the money for a year or two in an interest paying account, get thousands of dollars, and then either return the money or pay for the toys.

Hi,

The Turkey attack helicopter deal had TREASON written all over it in large letters---.

WZ-10 was as good a chopper as the 129---. Possibly the Army generals could not get as much kick back from china as they did from Turkey---that is why they picked the 129---.

Mastan, you have stopped taking your medications again. PAF has nothing to do with the decision on 129s.

Now you are posting under multiple IDs.
