Sorry mate .. The very response of yours is the crux of the problem.. Why would any section of the society be subjected to the standards of yours ? Majority or minority.. What gives the majority superiority over others ? And you guys go ape shyt when non western countries asks you to adhere to their customs, To integrate.. "needs to understand it is none of their business to disgrace beliefs of majority and mind their own business"

So you know these people think that the little girl was bringing disgrace to the beliefs of the majority. The case went up to High court before she got freed only because of international outrage.

For bold part I am strictly against those people who prefer living in Western countries but fail to cope with cultural gap and then try to implement / impose their way of life. They should think about problems they are going to face and how they are going to adjust, before leaving their own country

For the non bold part, what gives the minority in my country a right to interfere in my religious matters when I have no interest in theirs? I am not subjecting any part of the society to my standards I am just asking them to leave my religion alone and don't cross red lines (its not like they don't already know what are the red lines), they can make fun of me, be my friends, be my guests, be my colleagues but they need to respect my religious beliefs. In plain words mind your own business. So what is so difficult in doing so?

I dont think anybody is meddling in your religion.. Can you point out those who are ? Are any non muslims impose rules on how you practice it ? Are you being prosecuted for it ? Is anybody trying to alter the ways of how you practice it ? Pls give us some examples, How outsiders are meddling with your religion.. The only meddling we see are among Muslims themselves.. Archaic tribal customs of oil rich Arabic theocracies being imposed on other Muslims turning them sectarian and fundamentalist and inturn segregating themselves from the wider society where they have been perfectly assimilated for millenia

Seriously do I need to give examples here? World has forgotten about holy warriors who fought communism? When innocent people were brainwashed by American funding to fight jihad in Afghanistan.... Supporting Iraq in its war against Iran? And the invading Muslim countries in particular based on some pile of lies?

You say you're not subjecting anybody to your standards but by Pakistani law one section of your own society is deemed illegal.. How is that not imposing your standards over others ? And how have these Ahmedi's made fun of you, again have they resorted to violence ? And how is that asking for basic human right of worship disrespecting your religious beliefs ?

Dont mix global power politics to religious persecution.. Non of those examples are due to some perceived war against Islam.. It had all to do with resources, Money and power.. So again can you highlight a single instance that Non Muslims had interfered in how Muslims practice their faith ? On the contrary only countries that discriminate openly on other faiths are Islamic theocracies .. Especially in the Arab peninsular.. Can you dispute that ?

Its a taboo subject in the country where I live and also I avoid asking questions related to somebody's religion (outside the forum).

there is a difference between ahmadis and muslims ahmadis do not consider Prophet MUHAMMAD peace be upon him as the last prophet so therefore they are considered as non muslims in pakistan and a minority
