ok so actually I asked all about proxy is that using psiphon I accessed some youtube videos that were banned in pakistan not adult but music videos I got this russian ransomware through psiphon named cerber encrypted my whole data and asked for money. I think proxies should be banned. also to note on mobilink wifi device there are number of adult sites directly accessible isn't pta or responsible organization aware of this. I am mobilink device user i guess this should be noted that this is not good thing they are not banned.

rsonally .dont use proxy i use tor on my linux systen i dont tryst microsoft they have spyware at kernal level

Pakistanis can't stop this bill from passing, right? Because it's the military that calls the shots, a military that still thinks the answer to ALL problems is more power and control?

It is usually recommended to read and think before you write if you ever want to be taken serious and not just someone looking for an opportunity to post hateful things about Pakistan.

The senate is controlled by politicians who themselves are answerable to their stakeholders. In this case, the senate is held by the PPP who have actually done this to ensure their own reputations(along with other politicians) which are torn apart on social media sites such as these are not put on the line. The law has been infact toned down after civil society worked with the courts to tone it down. The military cant stand most of these guys, how they hell did they involved in your head?

That's not what makes Pakistan weird, imo. What makes Pakistan weird is having so many of the forms of representative democracy while lacking so many of the needed values to make it work.
