To me looking historically OIC deemed impotent given the long list of challenges facing so many Islamic countries in the world today...whether those challenges are home-grown or are imposed by external actors. Nevertheless finally OIC woke up...only time will tell how effective and formidable this so called alliance against terrorism will be. Also the amount of excessive wealth some of the member countries have could easily lessen the burden of foreign debt of some of the poorer Islamic countries...but I guess that is "out-of-scope" or way too lower in the list of things to do for the Ummah in general...

What expertise ? First creating, training and equipping the Talibans then hunting and killing them. Pakistan Army created its own nemesis and some elements still support Talibans.

The roots of Taliban are also in first gen Mujahideen who fought US war with the help of Pak Army against Ruskies. It is natural if PA or Pak Gov has ties with Taliban. Both Taliban and Afgh Govt is a mix of many smaller groups loosely bound and have their own preferences. Afgh Taliban's mostly have positive views abt Pak similarly mostly Govt allies have more ties with India, so pls don't start blame game on evident facts.

Seems like the Indians are eagerly waiting for Pakistan to make another huge mistake by joining the Middle East conflict. Then the Indian supported terrorist groups will start attacking Pakistan's strategic, military and nuclear installations while claiming loyalty to ISIS, Al Qaeeda, Talibans, etc. Pakistan is NOT going to join the Middle East conflict.

Another extremly stupid statement devoid of common sense,logic and facts. Who supported taliban negotiations in Murree, in Qatar and released taliban prisoners in exchange for American soldier. Was it Pakistan Army ?

Haqqani group second in command sat infront of American, Afghani and Chinese officials in Murree talks. So does it mean America and China are still supporting taliban ?

Pakistan's response should be simple, ask the other 33 "partners" when are they sending their contingents to fight terrorists in our tribal area. And also ask the Prince about who told him that Benin, Gabon and Togo are Muslim countries? How did they get their OIC membership anyway.

And seriously other than Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt and Jordan, what are the rest of the guys gonna bring to the table, dhairon duain I guess will the answer.

There are still few that confronted me few month ago in this forum. They seem to think that Talibans are Pakistan's tool to counter Indian influence in Afghanistan.
