Sure it is possible, but the problem will be that if Pakistani army is amassing at one point it would leave the other sectors with less man power. And since India has more man power it won't be as difficult for India to have enough number of troops stationed to hold the ground till reinforcements arrives.
Not entirely true.
As proven in 1965, Launching a Tank offensive in Central Punjab is very costly given the irrigation canals, rivers, and other obstacles to break through. Lots of time attacking forces will be held up building bridges and all the while being under constant artillery and aerial bombardment. Something which happened to India as they tried to take Lahore.
The areas where there will be major tank battles in Southern Punjab and Northern Sindh sectors and in those regions Pakistan can concentrate the bulk of its armored forces.
