What's new

Pakistan's first potential Football Superstar "Alamgir Ghazi"

Firstly wow you trained with Ajax, very impressive.

Secondly wrt professional footballers we need to setup academies like the African clubs have. Get players into lower level European leagues for a start. Within 15-20 years we could fly up the fifa rankings. Step 1 is our own version of Claire Fontaine.

I agree with you. There are tons of options to really kickstart Pakistan's journey in the football world. I have a few theories of my own. You need a solid foundation before Pak can really play with the big boys. It all starts at home. We are still lucky that in Pakistan we have places like Lyari and Chitral where people are football crazy. That is already a big plus. Unfortunately in the rest of the country this fever still has some catching up to do. I do think Pakistanis from all cities love football.

From what I know is that the Pakistani football association isn't in the best of shape. There are people in the football association who actually know very little about football. You cannot have that. You need experienced people at the top who understand the basics. That would be a place where I would start making changes. If you want to be serious about football you must have a good football association.

I fully agree that young talented players in Pakistan need to go abroad and taste what football is. They need exposure. National teams all over the world tap their best players often playing in European leagues. The more players you have playing in Europe the more options you have for your national team. I definitely agree that starting from lower level European leagues is an option.
