Generally women are not able to carry out tasks on the same level as men. However there is one type of special combat, in which women are able to fight alongside with men with equal effectiveness. This type is snipers.

Women snipers of 3rd Assault Army, 1st Belorussian Front. Each of them killed 70 to 90 soldiers and officers of Wehrmacht. Together they sent to the grave a battalion of Wehrmacht.

Roza Shanina killed in duels 12 German snipers. Her total score is 54 Germans.

Lyudmila Pavlichenko 309 kills including 36 German snipers.

It's called Sexual Dimorphism. Exists in Humans and many other species of Fauna. The problem with recruiting Women into the Armed Forces is that it won't be an equal fight if they're to physically fight the men. But since both men and women can take high G forces if they're healthy and fit, and as flying a Plane does not involve hand-to-hand combat, Women are indeed suitable as Pilots in my view.

True. But can one totally rule out the possibility of getting into hand-to-hand combat? Also, what about endurance and stamina with full combat load? I'm afraid it's a mismatch even between trained men and women on such parameters.

No women should go to war.....Fighter Pilot has a very critical role at war....only the best..and the warrior like person that should do this job........... But any way...it is a good post by you...to tell this fact....quite inspiring for men like me.

I support inducting women Pilots as long as standards are not compromised. This should not be done for Public Relations or because it looks COOL. If there is a woman sitting in that fighter Aircraft , she should be as competent as any other Fighter Pilot in the Squadron.
