I must agree that this thread is without sense. For Pakistan the only solution it can import from India for its problems is India's secular democracy. If Pakistan had to give up its status as an Islamic state and embrace a secular democracy then the entire existence of Pakistan as a nation will be without sense.

well NO not at all not even secularism which in itself is a flawed concept in India and which is not at all practiced in India.

As far as our status is concernd we do not need any suggestion from India that is itself having too many strong players in its so-called secular set up, who are striving for making a pure Hindu-state instead of a secular one.

These players are part of almost every successive government in India.

Yes our pure Hindu state has never allowed a Muslim President , a Sikh PM , a Catholic party leader (and the list is endless) to take office. Only Hindus have held office in this "pure Hindu-state". But to discuss secularism with you is futile. You need to live in a secular state to fully appreciate its workings

I never posted this thread and infact I disagreed with it in my posting above. I would not agree to something without substantive evidence and neither would I agree to a flame statement that "India is responsible for funding the terrorists in Pakistan". If you and Pakistani Minister Malik are so sure of that statement then present the evidence.

We are not courageous like Pakistan who started militancy in Kashmir after 1989 when Soviet left. We took due time in getting our act together and now our long endured friendship with Taliban is really paying off!

with respect, you seriously know little or nothing about Indian politics to post the above banter. The President and the PM are not ceremonial posts in India unlike in Pakistan where the military rules the country.In India these are termed executive posts. Our constitution is the supreme law of the land. You understandably would not know that since your constitution has been suspended so often I am prone to wonder whether it still exists or has any foundation.

Congress and RSS and Bajrang Dal allies ? Okay that is also Pakistani suspicion which must be factual right ?

Gujrat massacre and Babri mosque and Golden temple type issues are limited to India only ? Again is that a Pakistani type "fact" ? Let me not start with the incidents of religious intolerances in Pakistan over the years. At least in India when the dust settles these issues are not swept under the carpet. The people of India demand investigations and legal action.

Our secular democracy may not be perfect. No democracy will ever be perfect. But it is the best thing to ensure liberty and freedom in any nation. Theological nations can only result in incidents like the crusades and the inquisitions and the slaughter of Sikhs and Hindus in Islamically ruled India amongst others. Rather democracy anyday from our side. From yours unfortunately, theology and military dictatorship is all you can accept. Sadly, if you do embracy democracy then the reasons for Pakistan's existence as a nation becomes obsolete.
