Pakistanis need something more than their army to be proud of.
In a not so successful ( euphemism) nation, too much stock is put in the armed forces for survival of the nation.
As a Indian , a engineer such as Sreedharan makes me proud for giving Delhi a wonderful metro , which makes life of millions everyday better. And extending the same services in 8 more cities.
The chinese are proud of the way they have incorporated german and japanese HS train tech in revamping their railway services.
Americans are proud of being inventive.
Germans are proud of the reliability of their products.

Paks used to be proud of being muslims but now with the state of Islam in the world , they are clinging to their army.

In Kargil, all the fighting happened on the Indian side of LOC, Pakistan forces intruded into Kargil and killed hundred of Indian soldiers, what stopped your fake encounter specialists from attacking Pakistani positions on the other side, however even the agni pankh lost the appetite after few of them got their a$$ toasted.

True enough, we were left so impotent in reality that we shot down two IAF fighters and all IAF managed in response was show some crappy footages of some peaks inside IOK being bombed.

We were told by IAF that a constant bombardment campaign was underway and they cannot give a time frame of when it will end. For a force of 600 or so lodged on barren peaks, that was one hell of a loooooooong precision striking campaign.

Bravo IAF indeed.
