Its needs papmers stock if you see down from road while traveling on itStategic Highway 1 (S-1), also known as the Gilgit–Skardu Road or Skardu Road, is a 167-kilometre-long highway that links the cities of Gilgit and Skardu in Gilgit−Baltistan.
It was constructed by the Pakistan Army Corps of Engineers and the Association of Chinese Engineers from 1970 to 1982.Recently upgraded .
few months ago i traveled on it and stayed middle of the way a night too. Its too dangrous even its good carpeted

CARGO trucks pass through the Torkham area where a customs terminal is under construction.
The new terminal will have a cumulative parking facility for at least 500 vehicles which will hugely minimise traffic mess on the main Peshawar-Torkham highway.
The terminal is also designed to offer rapid passenger immigration process, efficient cargo checking and handling alongside e-lanes for even faster clearance and a sufficiently large parking space for at least 500 trucks awaiting clearance.

Relocation of KKH - DASU HYDROPOWER PROJECT
Under construction of Dogah Road Tunnel
It is one of the 7 tunnels being constructed under relocated KKH component.
The realigned and alternative road is being constructed by WAPDA in place of the existing submerged KKH under Dasu HPP Kohistan.
The realigned KKH will be constructed in two phases KKH-01 and KKH -02.

The ECNEC approved Reconstruction of Turbat-Mand Road from Motorway (M-8) to Iranian Border (Radeeq) project at a rationalized cost of Rs 19.571 billion.
The revised project envisages reconstruction/improvement/up gradation of 115 kms long carriageway starting from Motorway (M-8 Gwadar-Ratodero Motorway) to Kurumb (Iranian border) in Balochistan province.
The project road connects the Iranian border with the West i.e coastal Belt of the province. The project road is a part of the Southern Balochistan Development Package (SBDP).

Rai Mansab Ali Interchange PC-1 Nankana at Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Motorway M-3 approved by NHA
The NHA Executive Board recommended the PC-I for Construction of Interchange on Lahore Abdul Hakeem Motorway M-3 at Bucheki Nankana Sahib Road in the Name of Rai Mansab Ali Khan Kharal at a cost of Rs.1,323.04 million for approval of CDWP.
