Well you are a US citizen but still a Pakistan in the meantime. Having a citizenship one of a third country does not negate your roots and original background.

Here you are lobbying for the country of your birth and forefathers, though you maintain that your priorities are with the US but of course you have a soft spot for Pakistan The same way he does.

Just as a note: I want to be clear:
1. I believe the US should have relationship with Pakistan as Paksitan is a major pivot of the Muslims world. Possibly along with Egypt, Turkey, Iran, KSA, Malaysia and Indonesia.
2. The Muslim world is in Turmoil and the US should not further antagonize or go into conflict with at least these pivots
3. All of these countries seek to become developed (yes even KSA -- they are held back today but even in the 1930s the US had morality laws where women's bikinis could not be higher than 6 inches)
4. The US should withhold all aid to Pakistan until the Pakistani people bear their fair share -- pay taxes
5. Rather than aid the US can offer Pakistan trade access -- in an arrangement that must be fair to the US
6. "4" and "5" apply to all other countries including Afghanistan, India etc.
7. The US should continue to build strong partnership with India and should encourage Pakistani to do so too
8. The US in a Pakistan vs Afghanistan calculus cannot favor Afghanistan because all US interests lies in Pakistan in this equation. The same principal would apply to India/Pak -- there are more US interests in India vs Pak

1. I have challenged some Afghan-American on the Internet where their interests like -- and all they could come up was that my handle is Pakistani342 -- BTW the (342 is an anagram for USA -- people have asked me what 342 stands for -- this is the first time I'm answering the question).

For sure in KP.The place where he has to fight is Punjab .

very interesting -- I never regarded Taliban Khan as much of a Politician -- but interesting if true that he is doing better than ANP in KPK.

Note I am not defending him. Lot of things people say have to be understood in context. However you do know what the generic meaning of Afghan is? And that NWFP was at times taken by some as "Afghania".

And as regards public figure this guy has nominal support but in Karachi we have a party that literally has the country by it's proverbials - it's leader sat in London enjoy mass support with far more influence and power in what happens to Pakistan regulary makes seditious comments to the point of even questioning raising the question if Pakistan was a mistake. He has many parliamentarians in Islamabad and weilds enormous influence over Sindh.

To top it all there are serious allegations of Indian RAW has connections with MQM. I am sure you have heard of that. So brand this guy but can we please keep things in perspective. He is small fry compared to the bloated monster in London.

For example I have no idea if @A-Team is Pashtun but if he is not then he is merely Afghan by nationality. On other hand he well might be Tajik, Uzbek, Hazara or Turkmen Afghan.

I have not followed the politics in KPK this term -- but my impression was the IK has not been able to deliver anything -- and possibly was worse than the ANP government?

IK has done much better than ANP; that is why IK is in power and ANP isn't; it is also why, ANP can hardly get 0.5% of votes, maybe 1% if they are lucky.
