You know before 71 years there was not two history, but a single one.
Yes. We were part of a empire. Africa, Canada, Australia, large parts of Asia and the mother country England was just one history. Black, white, brown, Christian, muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Hindu we were one.

Of the varieties mentioned above at least three varieties (Lungra, Malda, Dusehri) has their origin in Gangadesh. Even the most famous Pakistani variety Anwar Retaul has its root in present day India.
I am apt to believe you because Mangoe is a troical fruit that needs lots of water. Pakistan was mostly semi-arid desert until British brought us irrigation engineering. So I suspect mangoe is a Gangadesh cultivar.

Ps. As much as I will be vociferous over something I consider as having originated or being associated to coterminous Pakistan I will also accept if anything has Gangadesh origin. There is a logic or rationale to it. For instance I consider Biryani to be of Indian origin. Ditto Tipu Sultan etc

Same in UK. Here most of the time they avoid "Pakistan" like as if it was a filthy word. India, Desi, Asian, Apna Muslim is mostly used.

Brother, American Pakistanis are even more cowardly. They are basically wannabe Arabs, and its so sad. I have so much to say about them, but I'll save it for later.

Atleast the UK and Canada have Kashmir rallies, Milad, and Ashura parades.

And the funny thing is "Pakistan" has become a dirty word by context. Anything remotely positive will never be called Pakistani. Other synonyms as I mentioned earlier will be used. However if it is anything negative yes you will hear "Pakistan" being used. So it runs something like this -

Food - Indian
Clothes - Asian
Music - Indian
Fruits - Desi
Style - Apna

Pedophile - Pakistani
Bomber - Pakistani
Terrorist - Pakistani
Poverty - Pakistani
Migrants - Pakistani

In US, whenever I tell people I am Pakistani, the first two things they ask is "Is it safe?" and "Aren't they Taliban?"

In the US, most people don't know anything about Pakistan except terrorist and Taliban.

Our food, dress, music, culture is a mystery to them.

Most think we are Hispanic, Arab, or European.

So before 1757 was there any common history of subcontinent?

I think you will find coterminous Pakistan was conquered by the English and attached with the British Raj in 1849 and became detached in August 1947. As regards common history coterminous Pakistan of course shares some aspects of it's history with wider Asia and even Europe. At times it was part of the Greek empire, at times part of Persian Empire, at times part of Central Asian based empires and even part of Ganga based empire. So we have lot of shared history with wider Asia and Europe.

When coterminous Pakistan shared it's history with Greece in Alexander's time.

As per my knowledge Seleucid Empire never crossed their borders beyond Indus. His invasion to Punjab was an utter failure.
By your logic even the present Pakistan with its current boundaries a gift of British, never ever in history the boundaries of current Pakistan ruled by a single empire.
And what I observed none of the big empires have their capitals in present boundaries of Pakistan other than Kushan's. That to around 70 years.
I do appreciate your effort of familiarizing the generations of your birth country to know about the land where they are born.
