Wow, the jews can be blamed for absolutely anything, cant they? Just like hitler blamed them for all the humiliation of his country in WW1, today whenever anyone's country suffers a slight embarassment/humiliation, they blame the jews.

Yes, and the law does make distinctions based on circumstances. Even killing, if done under justifiable circumstances, can go unpunished. The same goes for any other crime/misdemeanour.

So the legal system is supposed to study the circumstances, intent etc before deciding to punish someone. If the doc did it in the interest of getting rid of a mass murderer, and that is all that happened as a consequence of his actions, he doesnt deserve punishment. But a foreigner secretly channelling money to undisclosed recipients against all laws and regulations, to work for a cause that the host country and most other countries do not care for, will not be treated on the same plane.

US court sentences Ghulam Nabi Fai to 2 yrs in jail - Hindustan Times

A US court on Friday sentenced Kashmiri separatist Ghulam Nabi Fai to 24 months in jail. Fai's sentencing to be followed by three years of supervised release. According to a report, Fai to surrender after June 25 graduation of his daughter. Fai had pleaded guilty on December 7 to
being a paid lobbyist for Pakistan — handled by its intelligence service the ISI — without declaring himself to the US government as required.

According to a report, he had received over $ 400 million from the ISI over 15 years, through a Pakistani man who was found dead in unclear circumstance within weeks of his arrest.

Fai headed an outfit called Kashmiri American Council, which lobbied US government, lawmakers and opinion-makers on Kashmir, taking a line laid out for him by his ISI handlers.
