What's new

Pakistani IT companies bag 7 awards in Malaysia

oh man unbelievable.either there is corruption and if there is not then there is something else going wrong everytime ,you made me sad man.btw what was the reason for petition mean heck what was wrong with stupid residents

Not all are stupid as far as i have heard.
You would be alarmed too if hundreds of feet of excavation was being done in your vicinity, i heard the ground started sinking in the adjoining area and that caused a panic.
However it could also be political reasons since new governments tend to put all things to shelf.

Anyways, this was a project of Abu Dhabi group and they are currently in a bit of cash flow problems.

Could be the residents, could be the cash or could be the petty politics, anyway i do not see it materializing anytime soon.

Now, coming back to the main topic.
Well done PAKISTAN!

India didn't participate.
Or else,we would have known the result already!

Dude,where's the insecurity?
Did i target any one?
NO

As for Indian IT comps.
Is it a hidden fact??

No you are not insecure, just deluded with thoughts of grandeur. India did take part.

MDeC, the driver of MSC [Multimedia Supercorridor] Malaysia’s National ICT Initiative, led the Malaysian delegation to compete in 15 categories against APICTA’s member-economies including Australia, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Macau, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
Malaysia is top winner at Asia Pacific ICT awards

India is included in the member list here.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHA!!
WOw great pool of knowledge this PDF is!?
Hacked!!
HAHA is that what you call IT?
OMG!!!
Your post speaks a lot about your IT knowledge.
Information technology - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ok still,if its IT for you then compare it with the 40 websites of Pak Govt. hacked by Indians all at once.
We were 40 times larger.

Dude,India has the best IT sector in the world and you know it,you must have seen many acknowledging it.
So are you trying to say Indian IT sector and PAkisani IT sector can be compared?

I never rejected that India has a better and far bigger IT infrastructure. All I am saying is.... India is not the only IT industry in the world so stop thinking only Indians are going to grab awards in IT

IT is actually little more than computer machines... so stop telling me about the definition

and if i am not wrong, Pakistan had hacked about 190 or 290 websites in response to India's 36 websites and in both threads I wrote one simple statement that is.... What a waste of time unless attempted by the government authorities

PS: The video I posted tells that the CBI's website is one of the most secure website of India... if that website can be hacked - anything can be hacked ;)

Pfft!
24th March 2010.
And what event are we talking about?
DUH!!!

AMORA, The award winning Text to Speech System of University of Moratuwa competes with several other Tertiary student category projects from Australia, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia at APICTA 2010 currently being held at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

Indian National Association of Software & Service Companies (NASSCOM) is listed as a 2010 member.

Doesnt matter which event. Surely India would dominate every single one according to your claims?

Although hacking is not at all related to software development life cycle but this thread is about Pakistan winning an event and people should stop bringing India into this. Congratulate Pakistan and move on.

From my personal experience, Indian IT industry is nascent compared to that of USA. We still have mainly a service based industry and it's long way to become a product based one.

That one was completed months ago. Lahore projects are mostly on track I think.

But what about such projects in Karachi. The pace of these projects is slow and in fact some projects have been cancelled too. :frown:
