Pakistani/Indian Doctors

Why all Pakistani and Indians who are doctors think they are hot sh!t? What caused this? Why do our parents breed their kids to make them doctors and they do this for all the wrong reasons.

If you want to be a doctor it should be for your genuine motivation to help people. not for status and money.

It appears that something has sparked this post. It appears to be an affront that may have been experienced .

Doctors like any other class of professionals are a dime a dozen and I have not come across any who consider themselves to be what they have been called in post # 1.

Well paid .. yes.

As far as ' genuinely being motivated to help others' is concerned, after Mother Teresa & the Gent who started / runs the Edhi foundation , I have come across none.

Everything is for a reason - mostly money.

If doctor's profession is not for status symbol and money there will be a dearth of doctors in the world. As long as the doctors do professional justice to their jobs and make money for themselves, I do not see any harm in that.

This superiority complex comes into play when someone infected with self-praise manages to be a doctor after 5 years of efforts. This may also happen when someone returns to Pakistan after getting degree from some middle or low class medical college abroad and thinks that he deserves better perks from the hospitals/medical institutes.

Its a sad fact that most people, which adopt medical as profession, doesn't have any intentions to serve ailing humanity. Its a thing of past now to join medical profession with intentions to serving humanity

Man, calm down. I being a doctor myself like to say like any other profession there are ppl here of different attitude, work ethic , ability , dedication . and sometime knowing something that a common person know a zilch about gets into head of some ppl. There are doctors in my hospital who are like saints and there are doctors who write protein and multivitamin to every patient whether that fellow requires or not.
And like wounded monk said I spent 5 and 1/2 yrs studying MBBS will spend 3 yrs in PG ( I am a House officer now). spend this much time studying and to add there is no social life for us . I go to hospital in monday morning and sleep directly on Tuesday night ( 38+ hrs continuous duty) do that and tell how u cant get irritated after that. I rest my case.

THINK A WHILE...

Assume jayalalitha is right. I mean she didn't accumulate black money.

The lower court gave her a sentence of 4 years in jail and she spent a few days behind bars.

Now assume that high court has given the correct decision ( said that she is clean ).

One judge gave guilty verdict , other gave clean verdict . Obviously , diametrically opposite decisions.

1. So why shouldn't one judge be disqualified and his licence taken off ? They do it with doctors , no ? So why not judges ?

2. Why can't jayalalitha file a criminal case againat the lower court judge. Of causing her grave mental agony ; and physical discomfort ? Why should a judge be immune to this ?

3. Why can't we ( general public ) say that 1 judge is stupid ..idiot , doesn't know law etc etc...
which Public says that for doctors , .... no ?

Is it not a contempt of justice ? By the lower court judge ??

( all above arguements are assuming that jayalalitha is clean ).

its there job n most probably u payed thm handsomely for those services,,,they didnt do anythng above n beyond the call of duty,,,thats what is expected of thm.
ps-if they fail,,,they shud be beaten

I don't blame doctors being looking for money.

They have to study 5+ years in MBBS, then 3 years in PG and 3 years for super speciality.By the time one will become at the age more than 40.In this world nothing is for free. Lot of doctors also willing to locate rural areas to serve poor people.

and at age more than 40 most of these chishmish spend their time in few square feet cabins aka clinics making money and have not much time for kids and wives . hmmmmm money ?
