Pakistani Hindus demand public holiday on Diwali

Hindus being targeted in Pakistan has been going on for a long time, since even before Modi knew the meaning of the word "politics".

Alos, if what you say is true , it is a sad commentary on the state of affairs in your country. If antics on the border by a neighbouring country were a good reason to target minorities, Indian Muslims would left India a long time ago.

This is how you give equal rights, public holiday for Muslim festivals and no holidays for festivals of minorities.

There is no Public holiday, but minorities get official off days from work.

@ Topic - If govt. is not willing for nation wide off day than at-least in Sindh govt. can make it provincial level holidays because majority of Hindus lives in Sindh just like there is provincial off day for Gurunanak's birthday in Punjab - waise bhi Sindh govt. kon sa koi kaam karti hai.

They can take a day off from work. I don't want 99% of the population ditching work just because 1% are having a religious holiday no one else celebrates. It will cost millions in lost revenue.
