kisi ne gal kiti tawadey naal,

i think jana knew the point of the discussion

I think we all know the point of discussion and again you are a fool..........stop this pathetic Indian mentality, we all have our views and we should keep them and express them in the right threads.........if you cant cope with that then please go away else where.......idiots like you are just not welcome

Coz in India there are public holidays for muslim festivals

Pakistan is a Islamic country and India is a secular country. Can't you get the difference?

To whom it may concern: Will you people stop trying to derail the spirit of this nice and happy thread? There are plenty of other threads where non-stop mud throwing goes on. At least spare few good and happy thread alone.

mutual peace an co-existence...
our two countries have a bad history of wars otherwise nothing would be stopping us from enjoying years of mutual trust and brotherhood ...
Perhaps someday the vision of Jinnah might become a reality...

Oh damn!!! Dr Fauzia Siddiqui does not look good with a red hindu dot on her forehead. Let the Hindus celebrate their holiday, we Muslims should not take part in Hindu rituals.

You mean you converts should have nothing to do with your ancestors?

But even the Iranians celebrate their Nowruz still? Even Shia converts in Pakistan do that!

Any issues with that too? Do you just want to ape the Arabs, even when they treat you second class or worse?

I dont know what you're talking about but I am not a convert (although I have lots of respect for those who convert to Islam). I was born in a Muslim family, and so were my parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great grandparents, etc... And even the people of Mecca believed in a polythiest pagan religion before Islam, it doesnt mean we go back to our ancestors way of life. By the way, the region of Pakistan was predominately Buddhist 1400 years ago, not Hindu.
And most Pakistani Muslims cant even trace a non-muslim in their family.

This is a Hindu holiday and Hindus of Pakistan, who make only a little more than 1% of Pakistan's population, have every right to celebrate their holidays and practice their beliefs, but dont drag the rest of Pakistanis into Hindu beliefs.

All Gujjars are converts at some time after the Islamic invasions.

Because they have lost their culture and religion and adapted another one.

There are millions and millions of Rajputs, Jats, Gujjars in India who refused to surrender to the invaders and convert. They are all still proud Hindus, not fake Arabs or Persians or Central Asians.

The whole area was Hindu once. They are living in a land that was always theirs.

You have no business telling them what to do. You don't like them, stay the hell out in the kaffir Islamophobe country you have done reverse hizarat to.

All Gujjars are converts at some time after the Islamic invasions..

Gujjars are a nomadic tribe, well the ones in Pakistan and Kashmir are and there are many theories about Gujjars. Some say we came from Central Asia and migrated to the subcontinent, some say we are the original inhabitants of Punjab. Whatever we maybe, all Muslims at one time or another converted to Islam even Arabs, Afghans, Persians, Kashmiris, Punjabis, etc..

Because they have lost their culture and religion and adapted another one.

You mean they finally saw the light and saw the truth.

The Jatts of India are mostly all Sikhs. The Jatts of Pakistan are mostly Muslims. The Gujjars you have in Rajasthan and in southern India are nothing like us Gujjars of Punjab and Kashmir. Sorry but we dont speak any dravidian dialect, we are nomadic tribes in Punjab and Kashmir..mostly farmers and landlowners. The Gujjars of Punjab are proud Punjabi Pakistanis and we are more similar to rest of Punjabi Pakistanis than you have in India. The Rajputs of Pakistan are also proud Muslim Pakistani Punjabis. We dont like to be affliated with indian bharti culture. You will see us Muslim Gujjars, Muslim Jatts, and Muslim Rajputs in the Pakistan Army defending Pakistan from India since 1947.

And yea Muslim leaders are our heros from Muhammad Bin Qasim to Aurangzeb to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. We Pakistanis thank these Muslim leaders in our prayers every day for giving us the truth, ISLAM and for giving us freedom from the british and bharatis, PAKISTAN.

Says who? Even before the independence of Pakistan, Pak Sarzameen was a predominately Muslim area and before Islam Pak Sarzameen was a predominately Buddhist area. Hindus were always a minority in Pak Sarzameen and will always stay a minority.

I am Pakistani and have land and property in Pakistan. Whatever happens in Pakistan is my business. Why dont you go back to your bharati forums and leave us PAKISTANIS alone.

It shows you know little about your own origins.

You mean they finally saw the light and saw the truth.

No. I mean the opposite. ;)

Will explain in details some time later on a suitable thread.

Gibberish.

Gibberish again. Jinnah was convert from Gujarati Hindu roots. Iqbal from Kashmiri Pundits. Both were proud Indians for most of their life.

Remember:

"Saare Jahan se achchha Hindostan hamaraa"

"Mazhab nahi sikhataa apas me bair rakhanaa"

I will let you read history on your own.

Raja Dahir, the local Sindhi Hero was a Hindu. Buddhism was also a branch of Hinduism, a Dharmic religion from our holy soil.

Nice try.

Here is a good website to know about my Gujjar tribe, seems you are so interested.

The origins of the Gurjars are uncertain. The Gurjara clan appeared in northern India about the time of the Huna invasions of northern India. Some scholars, such as V. A. Smith, believed that the Gujjars were foreign immigrants, possibly a branch of Hephthalites (“White Huns”). D. B. Bhandarkar (1875-1950) believed that Gujars came into India with the Hunas, and the name of the tribe was sanskritized to “Gurjara”. He also believed that several places in Central Asia, such as “Gurjistan”, are named after the Gujars and that the reminiscences of Gujar migration is preserved in these names. General Cunningham identified the Gujjars with Yuezhi or Tocharians.

In the past, Gujjars have also been hypothesized to be descended from the nomadic Khazar tribes, although the history of Khazars shows an entirely different politico-culture ethosThis argument is chiefly based on the assumption that the word “Gujjar” is derived from the word “Khazar”; the Indo-Aryan languages lacked the sounds “kh” and “z”, converting them respectively into “g” and “j”. In Gazetteer of Bombay Presidency, the British civil servant James M. Campbell identified Gujars with Khazars.

Some Gujjars also claim that the Gujjar caste is related to the Chechens and the Georgians, and argue that Georgia was traditionally called “Gujaristan” (actually Gorjestan).[7][8] Some of them also claim that Germans are Gujjars. However, there is no evidence for such claims. The word “Georgia” derived from the Arabic and Persian word Gurj, and not Gujjar or Gurjar.

History

And Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad ALi Jinnah is the founder of Pakistan. I dont think he cared much about bharatis, he cared for a Muslim majority separate state, and Allama Iqbal was the first one to thought of the idea of a separate Muslim state for Muslim majority area of North-west British India.

We are Pakistanis. Pakistan is a separate country and the vast majority of Pakistanis are Muslims and it will always stay like that and nothing you bharatis can do to change that fact.

Omar! Are you telling me that you have never seen Pakistani women wearing tilak in marriages?

Come on! That's not such a rare sight. There are many rituals of Hinduism that are part of our culture and people never abandoned them. People do that for cultural reasons not for religious reasons. Do you want me to point out?

Besides i don't see anything wrong in Muslims taking part in festivals of other religions.

Show some tolerance.

PS. Don't derail the thread and i will ask others to do the same. Let's get back to the topic.
