I don’t mean to offend the Chinese on here but what exactly will be their solution to their gender gap? They cannot keep going abroad to buy wives, it is not sustainable without stopping their selective abortions industry.

India has the same problem with female infanticide no matter how much they will scream about it. It is sickening really.

I would have had no problem if they were genuine marriages although genuine Chinese men marrying Pakistani women are very rare, our cultures and languages are very different. Chinese men exploiting Pakistani women has done nothing but change our opinions of Chinese people and their attitudes towards Pakistani women, this ''brotherly'' love will not last long.

Yes, but is important to keep people-people & state-state contact separate. You can resolve one without affecting the whole strategic relationship.

This is where I think the overly emotional Pak reactions hurt them. The state if competent would work with Chinese authority to rigourously prosecute and return the men who are abusing women. Limit Visas and do some strong background checks.

It should not be left in citizens hands to ‘sort’ things out.

And remember on here there was a story about Pak men in Turkey who had raped a girl - abuses are going on everywhere. The states need to resolve it calmly.

yes i concur, it is draconian to do that. in our countries, man, it is expensive for man to marry given the price needing to be paid to a lady's family. not sure in west africa though.

Yes it is the tribal mindset that perpetuate it, the big cities are better now, but it will take a very time to improve it in the rural areas.

But one thing for sure the sex selective abortion are alien in Africa, either Christian or Muslim, it is nothing like the Chinese & Indian problem.

I have seen some genuine Chinese-Pakistani couple on tiktok and they have married for years and Chinese guy was even fasting and obviously embraced Islam. you can even judge these scammers from their look i.e standing with wife as if they are standing with some random girl whom they never communicated before
