SRINAGAR/UFA (Russia): India sees chance to nail Pakistan over JuD issue

Modi, Sharif to meet on Friday in Russia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif will meet in Russia's Ufa on Friday morning on the sidelines of the SCO Summit, an official confirmed on Thursday.

"It is confirmed. PM @narendramodi and PM Nawaz Sharif will have a bilateral meeting in Ufa tomorrow at 9.15 am on sidelines of SCO Summit," external affairs ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup tweeted.

The confirmation came hours after foreign secretary S Jaishankar said that the possibilities are always there that the two leaders could meet.

Modi and Sharif had last met in Kathmandu in November at the SAARC Summit where they did not have a bilateral meeting.

Earlier at the beginning of the holy month of Ramzan, Prime Minister Modi had called Sharif and extended his best wishes while stressing the need for having peaceful and bilateral ties.

During his telephonic conversation, Modi had also conveyed to his Pakistani counterpart India's decision to release detained Pakistani fishermen on the occasion of Ramzan.

The call was seen by many as an attempt to reach out to Pakistan after leaders from both sides exchanged sharp comments after Modi's critical remarks about Pakistan during his Bangladesh visit and in the wake of India's military action in Myanmar.

That's the way Pakistani army calibrates it's civilian governments interactions with the Indian counterpart.

The way it is in the borders, they are simply at the mercy of each other. You fire when you get the orders.

How can we kill a guy on Friday when it is Thursday both in Pakistan and India.

We did killed one BSF guy on Sunday though.

Pakistan violates ceasefire in Kupwara in J-K, BSF jawan killed

Might be a fake news to up anti Pakistan rants in India ahead of Nawaz Modi meet.

and guess what... you guys could stop that...
you could effectively stop that hegemony but well.... let's say.... not using terrorists against Pakistan...
ok let me declassify a thing...

i actually hated pak military interventionist policies in the civilian gov. and accused it of causing destabilization in the country in the long term... but then... suddenly "moody" came and i was to reverse my opinion...

what could have existed as an opposition against those interventionist policies, you PM crushed that and voila we have a here now, last nail in the coffin was your defence minister, brilliant fellow i must say...

but of course you have an option of nuking us... please do...

last but not the least... Pakistan Zindabad... Pak Fouj Zindabad

On Sunday, one BSF guy was killed. But how can we kill a BSF soldier on Friday when it is Thursday here.

RIP soldier,
Right before Modi and Nawaz are about to meet why the sudden rise in cross firing at the LOC.

What's there to stop man when nothing is there to start in the first place ?

Honestly, I find it hard to believe India will actively support terrorists in Pakistan. People like us will simply tear down the government and everybody knows that. It's a different story in case of Pakistan though.

haha.. Tell me what did Modi do ? He did a lot of things in India, started a lot of processes, which are yet to deliver results, but what did he do to Pakistan ?

That Defence Minister is a loose-mouth, does not know how to coherently express his thoughts. Thank god, he has decided not to talk to media for 6 months. To be honest, I had higher expectations from a IIT-B grad.
BTW, our PM crushed what ? You are assuming things, and mark my words, you will become a prisoner of your own words.

but of course you have an option of nuking us... please do...
I will leave that sort of loose-talk to your politicians. I guess it was the Pakistani defence minister who has been in the news recently for saying that ?

don't give me BS man, you're so full of it, your defence minister issued a threat and we heard it loud and clear...
message was on our tvs 24/7 and served as the biggest proof of your involvement...
now you're gonna say we imported the crticial componenets of our defence minister from MARs via chanamayaan or
whatever it's called...

barking against pakistan maybe, just maybe?
of course even though he is a terrorist (read google) he can't really come to pakistan wearing a flak jacket and a gun cause he'll be ripped to shreds...

you can't take words back from a mouth but degrees sure can be revoked...

we don't like long talk unlike your politicians... you want a war all you have to do is ask...
your PM asked for it
your defence minister asked for it
rss asks for it everyday
that's how war is gonna be MAD...

These guys are in for another spanking by the IA. Last time they provoked, Nawaz had to run to the P5. This time we should repeat and escalate things on their other border as well. Then watch how the enemy will gasp for air. Mr.Doval... pull up your sleeves man...

Seriously you find it hard to believe? Seriously??? Where were the people like you when just recently your PM acknowledged that IA actively supported Mukti Bahini. Did you tear down your government?

Well if you don't consider them terrorists but freedom fighters then you won't certainly consider the likes of BLA and BRA to be terrorists, hence no tearing down of the government when it actively supports them.

You have to expand your area of knowledge there. Not even a single government in this World recognizes Mukti Bahini as a terrorist organization and that includes Pakistani government as well. There is a wide gap between the reality and what you see in the media.
Read the Hamoodur Rahman Commission Report, it was declassified after 30 years I think, available online now. Perhaps that will help you understand the events better. The report is quite straight-forward.
The influx of East-Pakistani refugees alone was enough for India to react.

I have impartial stand on the issue of Balochistan. Although, sometimes I feel bad when I hear chilling stories about atrocities there, can't verify the truthfulness though.

That is true Sir that i have to expand my area of knowledge, but we all need to do that, don't we. I don't know Sir whether you have read the Hamood ur Rehman Commission report yourself but i've read it and it never mentions that Agartala Conspiracy was a complete hoax.

Now with the confessions of the conspirators like the deputy speaker of the Bangladesh parliament, it is clear that India was supporting secessionists of East Pakistan way before Operation Search Light started and India had any influx of refugees from East Pakistan. Just one example. I can give you many.

As for you feeling bad when you hear chilling stories of atrocities in Baluchistan, there were similar stories spread during the East Pakistan saga and people like you felt bad so they did not tear down their government when it supported oppressed Bengalis, like you are not tearing it down right now. Please come out of this illusion that Indian governments is a saint and can do no wrong. They have done horrible things in the past and they are continuing to do so now.
