I thought the label on the above picture is a fitting answer to someone up there who claimed non-Pakistanis were behind this show.

These shows ARE for the fashion designers and not for ogling over hot chicks. Although I fail to understand where most of these dresses would ever be worn?

Some of the more traditional Shalwar Kameez/Saari designs although were quite good and generally I feel what the designers should concentrate on. The skirts n all, well chances are they are being done by thousands of more designers in the west, but the revamped traditional clothes is something Pakistani designers can show case their uniqueness to the world.

And ultimately generate some sales, which is the bottom line for them?

Most are for western countries and western countries buy these, but there are a few upper class that would buy these kind of dresses in pakistan.

Even still I think, westerners would be more interested in buying our traditional clothes, which they deem as exotic, rather than our western dresses.
