Pakistani cricketer given acid to drink in India
It has always been the case that Indian officials show hated towards Pakistanis and any Pakistani team goes to India for any competition. The same happened when Pakistan’s blind cricket team visited India for the World Cup and team captain Zeeshan was given acid on the breakfast table.
According to the Indian media reports, Zeeshan was given the acid accidentally and was then rushed to the nearest hospital for the treatment.
The Pakistani officials demanded a serious investigation in this case as such an accident cannot happen without someone’s consent as the cleaning acid can never be served on the breakfast table by mistake.
Talking to the media, he told that the team was served with mineral water everyday and it was nothing out of the routine to take a bottle placed in front and drink from it.
So, when Zeeshan was having his breakfast, he was having as usual a bottle of water in front of him which actually had cleaning acid in it. As he was blind, he was not able to differentiate the color of water and acid and so he drank it.
As a result, his throat and stomach burnt hard and he had to call the officials right away to take him for some treatment. After taking him to the nearest hospital and getting some treatment, he was reported to be alive and in good health.
It was just his throat which was causing him problems afterwards and the doctors advised him proper treatment unless the sourness finishes
