No mobile phone signals in Islamabad/Rawalpindi. As per PTA, Networks are shut down in 10 km radius of GHQ till-11.p.m today, the same will be practiced on Tuesday 06-09-2016 from 12 Noon till 11 pm due to Defense day.

So...i don't think so they will object just over an extension cord since it wont be cost much or put load on UPS...WIFI router wont consume much energy.
