The Bahrain based 35th TFW flew 2,331 sorties for 8,587 hours, firing close to 1,000 HARMs and two dozen AGM-45 Shrikes.

DEAD is a whole 'nother game. No point in the PAF chasing it.

PAF does not have to cover the whole of India obviously, but the area of operations is still bigger than the area the US had to cover over Iraq. And let's not even begin to talk about the sophistication of SAMs since then. Can't defeat SAMs when the ARM is intercepted.

You didn't get the point I'm making. How many sorties will you need to deliver these PGMs? How many land based launchers will be used up?

The USAF alone needed 2300 sorties and 1000 HARMs from just one wing in order to continue operating over Iraq. All other missions are separate from these 2300 dedicated SEAD sorties. So how many missions is PAF ready to perform in order to defeat Indian SAMs in conditions where even those 1000 HARMs are easily intercepted?

Basically, what are you willing to give up in order to defeat the S-400?

You don't have iron dome to intercept rockets and projectiles and Pakistan can launch them in numbers also standoff weapons with guided cluster munitions will be very hard to handle.

You mean MBRLs? That's not an answer to defeating SAMs. You bring them close enough to hit air bases, those MBRLs will already be under attack by our infantry.

The most dangerous rockets can also be intercepted by SAMs and AAA anyway.
