But here is one example as to why Afghans may have a soft spot for them.

This Modi led Bharat is a giant of a nation with extreme military power, this power can seriously threaten Pakistan. Not only this but to Pakistan's west there is NATO active there along with Bharat. So Pakistan is sandwiched you see. If the NUG does not care what Bharat does, even if she succors Khawarij terrorist (or other unfriendly acts), as long as Bharat build roads etc in Afghanistan then NUG are partly to blame for this and so Pakistan will have to do what is necessary to protect her. Wisdom is needed!

Also Pakistan is also providing infrastructure. Obviously not as much as Bharat as she is is not as rich as her.

NUG must ensure that Bharat is not supporting anti-Pakistani elements within Afghanistan. Wisdom is needed.

Shameless is small compare to what Afghans are.

Afghanistan seems a cricket ball to me who is ready to be played on anyone's cricket bat. We all know afghanistan initially didn't recognized Pakistan as an independent state. I feel we need an aggressive policy with Afghanistan. We need to go hot pursuit way to kill our enemies in Afghanistan whom are residing under kabul's shelter like the same way India did in myanmar (which india claims).

Not just recognize diplomatically but ACTIVELY stir up violent insurgency. This is very important!!

You should just close that border permanently. Nothing good is going to come off from that side for you.

You don't need strategic depth anymore. Really.

Let Iran and India be Afghan partners. Your business is with US and NATO. Keep your good relationship with them.

With current range of assets you have made attack from eastern front a very costly business for your nemesis. Hence you see yourself bleeding from the western front.

Send all the Afghans to India and Iran. Let them have brotherly relationship with them.

Focus on your CPEC and other internal development. But keep the borders sealed.
